Changed my mind regarding the controls, I'm now playing Resident Evil: Revelations just the Circle Pad Pro. So glad I got this bundle :) !vgp

Tried playing Resident Evil Revelations for the Circle Pad Pro, I love the grip it gives but I don't care much for the button layout with it, so I keep it attached but use the Gyro sensor to aim, whilst still using the second stick for camera controls :) !vgp

Compiled Ponykart on my computer. It's still in a very early state, but it looks quite good already, and I'm seriously impressed. Also, it's my first SUCCESSFUL time compiling a program (unless you count Java for Linux, I did it the hard way)! !vgp !equestriagaming

@takeshitakenji Well, the porting will most certainly not happen on this weekend, as the program isn't even released yet. I'm just thinking that I'd like to learn how to make wine-based software ports, so that everyone, no matter what OS they run, can play MLP:FiM fangames.

@takeshitakenji Also, in most of the programs I'll be working with I won't have access to the source code (Ponykart is an exception, as it is open source), so I won't be able to use Winelib with them.

I have now opened Tales of the Abyss 3D, I decided,to hell with keeping games sealed unless I plan to sell them off. Just hoping that as an impulse buy based on the fear of it becoming stupidly expensive again it turns out to be worth it, but I'm sure it will. !vgp

@leonkfox I can't think of any way that could even be possible, unless they either used rewriteable discs or required an internet connection at all times just to use the console.

While I'd love to play an HD version of Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy, I'm not re-buying the 2 overrated sequels again just to do so. (The HD Collection is out soon) I just want a Ratchet and Clank one already! Would love to play all 4 remastered in HD, revive the online for 3 and Deadlocked as well! !vgp

@redenchilada I never really noticed any of these things, I gotta be honest. ^^; The videos not playing WOULD be an issue though, but I suppose you could always just watch them on YouTube, or download them.

My mum tells me that my Play.com order has arrived back home, must be Tales of the Abbys 3D :) Wouldn't have bought it right away, but the Tales of games get stupidly expensive really quickly here in Europe. !vgp

I managed to beat the Resident Evil: Revelations demo, though not without running away from a few enemies. ^^; But I like that you don't have so much ammo that you feel like a one man army in this game, I loved RE4 to pieces (5 not so much) but this definitley has an edge in terms of atmosphere, and the sense of being in real danger. I've not had to run away from a standard enemy in a Resident Evil game since 3. Hoping that Leon's segments in RE6 replicate this feel as it's clear they CAN make these games atmospheric whilst still using the new camera angle and control scheme. I will say though, the demo is a tad too short and ends on an evil cliff hanger, but I guess it's just ways of making you want to buy the full game. !vgp

Really hope that the PS3 version of Resident Evil 6 has Playstation Move support, I'll actually buy it for that platform if it does. !vgp

Playing the Resident Evil Revelations demo, not only are you not swimming in ammo, but it's atmospheric in a way a RE game should be, and to top it all off, it actually made me JUMP! These are all things that could not be said for RE5. !vgp

@ceruleanspark I don't use 3D on 3DS games bar for Mario Kart 7, it tends to give me headaches and I think the games look better without it.

@ecmc1093 I've been a fan of the series ever since I was 9 years old, and I'm 21 going on 22 now, so I must confess I'm a bit more picky when it comes to Resident Evil :P (don't get the wrong impression though, I loved RE4, while it had a lot of action it still had an atmosphere to it, which 5 lacked)

I want to download the Resident Evil: Revelations demo on 3DS (which I just learned about) but I have to download a system update first and the battery has to charge up a bit beforeand :( #FirstWorldPains !vgp

As much as I love FiM, Bronies etc (being on a Brony dedicated website and all :P) I felt like having a change of avatar, to that of Leon Kennedy as decipted in RE6. Has it updated yet? :) !vgp

@leonkfox I just don't trust a motion sensor over a controller being held in my hands. I won't deny that the possibility of motion control can become something cool, but I've yet to be convinced that we've reached that point yet. I'd be far more interested in buying the RE4 on Xbox360 instead of the Wii version only because it has a controller. This is the same reason why I picked the Gamecube version of LoZ: Twilight Princess and why I was somewhat hesitant about Skyward Sword.

@egnaroesroh The HD version of Resident Evil 4 on 360 is overpriced for an old Gamecube/PS2 game, and they removed the fog affects...for no good reason. I own the game 3 times already and unless it drops in price I don't plan to make it a 4th.

@leonkfox Well for me it's 20 USD for a game I haven't played yet with achievements, so it's not that big a deal to me.

Think I'll make a video on my impressions of the Resident Evil 6 trailer tomorrow :) In short though, Leon's gameplay seems to > Chris's. In fact, I'm not gonna lie, I've re-watched the Leon portion of the Resident Evil 6 trailer to death in just the last few hours alone. ^^; Not just because he's my favourite character in the entire series, but because his gameplay seems to be where all the atmosphere will be based on that trailer. !vgp
