  28. @redenchilada Still doesn't mean it wasn't an incredible game. Just like how I hate GTA 4 and 5 but I'm not going to deny that they are incredible.

  29. @redenchilada I'm not saying it's the best game ever, far from it actually, and it's not even my favorite Zelda game. But it's impact on the market and genre as a whole are what make it incredible. I mean how many games can you think of in 1998 that featured a full 3D open world, with a day/night cycle and weather effects, while featuring real time combat. To properly judge the game you would have to go back in time to 1998 to see why it's incredible and why it's so beloved. Also apparently it's the highest rated game ever reviewed according to Guinness Book of World Records.

  30. @redenchilada Not at all. Most games on the N64 have a nostalgic veil over them, but if you go back you realize how limiting the controllers was and how hard it is to play them now. The reason OoT is beloved so much is because it played so well, and also was the first action RPG that used a lock on system. The game played beautifully and still does to this day. The game also revolutionized story telling as whole and crafted an interesting and engaging story all set in a large(for it's time) 3D open world. It's also the highest rated game on the system.
