George Bush, Sr. played a major role in that "sporting purposes" nonsense, and Ronald Reagan closed the NFA registry on selective fire and full-auto firearms. Neither of the two Wall Street parties are to be trusted.

@polarbear Fortunately, I still have some of my .22LR ammunition stash left (perhaps a couple thousand rounds). It's irritating that .22LR is a bit difficult to find at times thanks to the artificial panic induced by the NRA in 2013 to maximize the profits of domestic manufacturers of firearms and ammunition.

@polarbear God, what I wouldn't give for a Hammock. And a place to put it. I would probably sleep under the stars more if I did. And, I would feel a bit safer. I guess. My whole body is tense.
