Part 3: #ooc I wanted this song to reflect her time spent on the moon. The deafening solitude of her situation causes her to break down inside. The little glimmery major-chords can be like a strobe of hope in her eyes quickly extinguished by the stark realization of her situation She's on the moon and there's nothing she can do about it. tl;dr I sympathize with Luna.

Part 2: #ooc Celestia. She knew from the beginning what her sister was planning and she did absolutely nothing to stop it. Instead, she made an example of her sister by allowing her student to defeat her and humiliate her. Painting her as the bad guy and making her actions unjustifiable. Celestia is evil. Luna is completely incapable of rebelling even slightly. Everything she does is monitored and easily predicted by her sister. She can never truly be free, even though she's a god-princess. Luna will always be forced to submit to her sister's will. Forever incapable of expressing herself or making a point.

part 1: #ooc Me and my friend had a conversation that inspired all of this song. We both came to the unfortunate conclusion that Luna has always and will always be completely innocent. It's definitely understandable that one would feel a bit used. She wanted ponies to appreciate what she thought was beautiful. when something that you put so much effort into is largely ignored by the ponies you made it for. Her uprising was completely justifiable. We did agree that her reaction was a bit much. She shouldn't have tried to steal the day away from the ponies. But there is no way in hell that Celestia's "reluctant" punishment fit Luna's crime. 1000 years on the friggin' moon is unbearable to think about. 1000 years of pure loneliness. She only had herself and her thoughts. So she's on the god damned moon, right? The punishment is extreme and she wants to take back what she's lost. So she decides to come back and finish what she's started. However, guess who knew it all along?
