!UK Mystery solved! You know how you're like, "Huh. Did Boomerang make the pitch higher?" when you're watching pony? It's because our PAL TV systems run at a faster framerate than NTSC systems. Ergo the episodes are slightly faster and higher in pitch when run on British televisions. #TheMoreYouKnow!

@thelastgherkin I know the feel. I've compared some translations from some dubbed series with the original English version and encountered this particular framerate problem. Either you have to rerender in a lower framerate or syncronize by hand every few minutes.

@ceruleanspark ...well, I think he already left some time ago, anyway. Boots ain't bad! Btw, Just seen the trove posted on !ukponies by rotation, so it looks like I'll be doing my food shopping THERE today. Its not convenient... but, y'know... pony... and stuff.
