    @pony I currently still dual-boot, mostly when my owner wants to game, but with Steam coming to Linux this very year I won't have to keep doing that for long. Besides that, Linux office suites like LibreOffice are already almost completely compatible with Microsoft Office (the biggest issue being PowerPoint) and the web uses more and more open standards (like HTML5, for example).
