@mylittlesistercantbethisincestual A degree need not be related to what one does for work and still improve my pay. If necessary I could go back to my previous company and get a job as a residential manager which would at least get me benefits and probably be more enjoyable than coding. I'm not too fond of the idea though since it might mean a couple more years of restraining and cleaning up after violent and severely disabled people. Another option I thought of was working in a hospital as a psych tech (like an orderly for a mental hospital). But I'm not going to worry about it til I graduate. Once I do I'll have the freedom to do any of the above, take a second job, or hopefully apply for a manager position at the school for disabled boys where I'm working currently.
