@ceruleanspark nothing that's a direct derivative of my work. When funcube and/or UKube get in the sky next yearish, I'll be keeping my fingers crossed!

@ceruleanspark sometimes. Other times it involves battling with old engineering 'experts' telling them they're incredibly wrong. And lots of really obscure, nasty maths.

@ceruleanspark satellite communications, mostly. Building low power radios and writing weird encoding/modulation schemes for cubesats. Its interesting... can keep me very busy!

@ceruleanspark I was out 'testing' some of my research. Really got nothing done, but they took ages to let me use the labs, so it wasn't all my fault'

@ceruleanspark call it security! I'm just back from a several month transfer in the us. I look forward to my comfy office and return to my academic timetable... "pretend to reaearch, waste time.... panic when quarterly funding use update required "

@scribus well, it sounds ideal when I forget to mention the mucking out the horse bit we had to do earlier. Even then, its not like that reponsability makes life bad!

@rotation It was horrible when outside, sometimes, but everywhere is air conditioned, so it was only between the car and the office that you'd notice the heat. Still horribly uncomfortable sometimes. Like when my air con broke :(
