@jla It's actually temporal. Downvoting content over a certain age has no effect on the users total karma score. I don't really care about karma as a value, I just think it's hilariously petty that they'd do that AND THEN tell me.

@jla Yeah, that's what I've got as well. But then I need to synchronise that with my sansa clip mobile player which is mounted over USB.

@jla ... hence the need for a podcast client on my computer. I then sync the files to my player with unison :-)

@jla I've got a smartphone, but I prefer to listen to podcasts from a separate player anyway (sansa clip+ w/ rockbox).

@jla I'm a student to, and it's not even an option in my program. There's a CompSci major I know who works that way though, and it really looks like a pain.
