@starlightbolt Oh I see... I convert the Video into a image series with "mplayer". Then I open these imagaes as layers into gimp. Then I arrange the frames to get a fluid animation and then I convert this into indexed colors and use the "optimize for GIF" filter.

@starlightbolt ffmpeg can output .gif files, and it also has cropping options. It's a bit "raw" but it works great.

@starlightbolt I use gimp. Nothing fancy and it's available on my Linux machine right now. I haven't done any GIFs with photoshop but I think it's also possible to make some with that.

@starlightbolt For the longest time, I had the Rainbow Dash chrome skin and a Pinkie Pie background. But that sadly that computer is le dead. :< But yes, @rainclop ease them into it. or do what my friend jazelock and I do: Refuse to cease all things pony until they either shut up and accept it, or join in.

@starlightbolt You should. Don't worry about who you audition for, it's all in good fun. I wouldn't mind if somebody beat me to the Spike role. And don't worry about how you sound. I'm a British college student with a mild stammer, and I managed to pull off a decent sounding Boston accent (according to Abridged guy, anyway). BTW, you can audition for more than one role.

XD I started off with Applegloom until I drew Splody, and then she went RP so I changed to Molestia while waiting for a chance to get a higher resolution balloon-riding Gummy. :3 I think. And I had a Creeprilee/cheerilee for a little while, but it looked bad and Sweetie had went quiet by then.
