First, like, 8 paragraphs and NO UNGODLY CAFFEINATION. It's like . . . they're trying to build to the point and stuff. Almost like "real" writing instead of "BS fanfiction." Maybe later, when it's just #BuzzedScribusReads. But then, I haven't established a hashtag for that one.

They don't get much more meta-referential than that. Also, I'm not going on to part three, but that's largely because drunk attention span is worst attention SQUIRREL!!

I'm wildly amused by the Bill Cosby antics, and the character voices aren't really far off most times. #DrunkScribusReads #PastSins - I quit. It's not poorly written, just a bit amateur. Which, sure, it's fanfic - it's pretty much by definition amateur writing. I know I'm not much (if any) better, but that's a large part of why I don't just throw my stuff out there to the 'tubes. Knowing how long "Past Sins" is, I just can't put that much work into it. Pleasure reading shouldn't be work, it should be fun. I see a degree of promise there, but it needs probably more polishing than would be worthwhile for this particular story. I wish the author the best as they continue to grow as a writer.

#DrunkScribusReads #PastSins - I think I've figured out what I disliked about the prelude: it doesn't really do anything not mentioned in the synopsis. So! Skipping to chapter 1, and opening another Four Loko. Because #DrunkScribusDrinks as well.

#DrunkScribusReads #PastSins - I have never had an interface error with a physical book. Almost immediately, I saw a link that went to Chapter One and had to click it. Turns out, the links to the next and previous parts are at the top of the part you're reading! Actually quite clever, even if I did end up confused. :p Good old PEBKAC. 6_9

#DrunkScribusReads #PastSins - I probably won't finish. I probably won't get halfway done. But, I'll give it a start, at least to get a taste of it. Also, finishing my first Four Loko (which amounts to more than a six pack of regular beers (and now, I shall tangentially listen to Black Flag (which probably won't fit "Past Sins" half as well as Dethklok fit "Cupcakes" (but I don't care (OH LUNA THE NESTED PARENTHETIC STATEMENTS!))))).

#DrunkScribusReads (I almost tagged #DrunkScribusDrinks :p ) #ZecorasDiary - Just sit right back and you'll hear a tale, of an interracial ship. . . "Zecora's Diary" is probably a genuine #clopfic but it's written in ballad meter, which means you can sing it to the tune of "Gilligan's Island." Also, it's not poorly done. In fact, it's rather well done. Yes, I liked it. I mean, my pants are still on, but it was good. I should stop typing now. Any further suggestions, anyone? I'll be doing this until I pass out!

#DrunkScribusReads - #TheHoofwichHorror A MLP / H. P. Lovecraft pastiche. Pretty well done, definitely grimdark. A nice twist, and some fun references to previous generations of MLP (which took me a while, as I'm mostly a FiM guy). Next up, #ZecorasDiary (thanks, @retl ) And, I'm still open for suggestions!

#Cupcakes was just bad. I mean, I guess it was only done for the shock value, anyway, but it's not very shocking when obvious cases of "Did not do the research" kick me out of the story, and that's not even getting into the spelling & grammar errors which were in the edited version. GOOD EVENING, RDN!! Tonight, I think I'm going to drink and review controversial fanfics. But first, I need your help. See, the only one I know of firsthoof is "Cupcakes," which is where I'll start. After that I'll need suggestions. Now, a few guidelines. I want "controversial," not just bad, not something you personally dislike. Something with heated opinions on both sides. Also, since I'm doing this in one night, nothing overly epic - I want to get through a few tonight, so I won't be reading anything Robert Jordan-esque. (Don't ask; look it up). And finally, I have a much lower tolerance for bad writing than bad anything else, so if I just can't stand it, I will quit. That said, I'm gonna go get supplies, then get this terrible idea rolling. #DrunkScribusReads #IwillRegretThisWontI
