I recently got started with my #Warhammer40k hobby, but lately I've been wanting to try something else that's new to me, Magic the Gathering. I've not played a trading card game properly since Pokemon, and even then that was YEARS ago, but I've watched a bunch of videos on how to play Magic recently and it seems really interesting to me! Hope there's a club/store that'll let me try it out somewhere in Bristol.

Games Workshop and the gaming club have just closed, didn't get to finish the game and as expected I was rather rusty with regards to the rules, but it was still a lot of fun regardless :) #Warhammer40k

Rules Workshop just finished, wasn't as involved in the battle as I'd have liked as all I did was move around a building and shoot some Tyranids, I forget which type they were. Hoping next week's won't need as long an introduction so that we get more turns in. #Warhammer40k

Ramble incoming :P I had a great time in Games Workshop today, played my first proper game too!..Okay it wasn't technically IN the store per say, but you get the gist. My friend and I went our seperate ways and a staff member redirected me to a club taking place in a nearby cafe that hosts it every Wednesday, a war gaming club of course. I got partnered with an Imperial Guard player who had experience. The scenario was that there were 3 buildings that I had occupied with my Imperial Fists, and his Imperial Guard had to claim them back. We weren't matched points wise (due to the fact I only had the Black Reach starter Space Marine army) but I held them off for most of the game in spite of this! Gotta love Space Marines :) It did all go apples up towards the end though and...well, I lost all but one of the buildings xD But it was a lot of fun, I learned more about some of the rules to boot. ^^ Will definitley be coming to this club every week if I can! #Warhammer40k

Now on a bus to meet my friend, gonna buy some MLP blind bags to use as practice for painting customs (maybe even my own OC) and then head to Games Workshop to continue work on my #Warhammer40k stuff.

Just had a thought...a sort of obvious thought but one I only just got nonetheless. The Citadel Paints that are used for #Warhammer40k miniatures could also make great paint for blind bag customs...I really want to try this now!

Going shopping with my nan and mum in a bit, need to buy some stuff for #Warhammer40k when we go. Need 2 lunch boxed sized containers, one for storing the Orks I won't be using to play the game and save space for stuff I'll be using to play the game in my carry casd, and a tape measurer for moving miniatures across the playing field as opposed to using those two flimsy red sticks that Games Workshop provide with the Assault on Black reach starter set. (Especially since the Games Workshop store that I go to doesn't allow them to boot.

#Warhammer40k http://twitpic.com/8pkh5b Bar for the Rhino I've cut off all the pieces from my "Space Marine Battleforce" plastic containers are your friend, I learned from the mistake I made with the "Assault on Black Reach" miniatures and just carried the pieces in my case...god that was an unorganised mess.

Don't know if anypony saw that vlog that I posted earlier about my recently aquired interest in #Warhammer40k, but earlier I had a comment rather bluntly ask if I had Autism or not. Is this some sort of generalisation towards people who play table top games, or am I missing something?
