@pinhooves Nice ^^ I may have been linked to a good tutorial for this EZCap, if that doesn't work I'm gonna have to order one and see if that works and allows me to record gameplay properly. As I said I've only had one succesful recording with the EZCap thus far l, since I got it set up several days ago. *ramble over*

For all of the settings tweaks, different capturing software etc I am convinced my recording woes lie with the EZ Cap. The Conduit test was a fluke, it would seem. One of the main reasons I think my EZCap is the cause of all my problems is the fact that across all the different software I captured video with, video editors I rendered my clips with (once I started doing so) this was my ONLY successful recording with the damn thing. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mtIm0wr9Cx0&feature=mfu_in_order&list=UL !techponies

Well, I can now confirm the EZCap's recording lagging with Sonic games isn't the fault of those games ,it lags with Super Mario Galaxy 2 as well, on both Arcsoft Total Media 2 and Debut Video Capture 2. It could well be a fault of the EZCap, gah. !techponies

Well, it seems almost all of my video recording woes are fixed...except for the fact that both Sonic Unleashed and Colours lag like crazy when I record footage of them, both on Arcsoft Total Media Extreme 2 and Debut Video Capture. Could it be the EZCap simply being unable to keep up with these games' faster paced gameplay? !techponies

@pawnheart It is, as far as hardware set up goes, software wise I've been having to do a lot of work to get it to work properly, but I think I'm getting there, if I'm not already.

Rendering my 4th test with my EZCap, and I may be having some luck, it seems to like slower paced games! (tried it with Conduit) I AM gonna have to find a way to make it work for Sonic games, but regardless it seems all is not lost! !techponies

Dammit, the EZCap's picture quality looks so good and the audio is synced, just need to fix bloody frame rate and get it consistently smooth. !techponies

@pinhooves No idea if it even IS a limitation of the trial, it could just be a problem in general. Arcsoft Total Media doesn't even do it, heck, even AmCap doesn't.

Pinnacle Studio is only showing my capture card's footage in black and white x.x And I checked, it is set to NTSC already. !techponies

I am now installing Pinnacle Studio 12 ,gonna record a third test using it and run it through AVS video editor when I'm done. !techponies

God damn it YOUTUbananas The second test is still out of sync, I've noticed the video goes into super fast forward but the audio doesn't, hence why it's out of sync when it doesn't on the RAW video, and also, some of that level got cut off towards the end. I am never going to get this heap of papayas to work. !techponies

@fuschiaperspective I had heard about the file types ,but not the browser specific uploading. I was using Chrome to upload them, I'll install Firefox and render the files through AVS, see if it helps.

Tried recording another EZCap test using Arcsoft Total Media Extreme 2 again, only this time on the laptop, raw file has the sound in sync. If the sound goes out of sync again it'll be YouTube that's doing it. ¬_¬ !techponies
