@getacutiemark it's not very practical and I've never heard any real explainations for why it is the way it is, I love big changes, when they make sense. Like Unity, I appriciate what Unity is and what Ubuntu is trying to do with it but GNOME3 was just changing it for the hell of it

@ponydude That's what people say, it's just Arch without the innovation, dump a bunch of 'buisness-grade' programs in the live disk and sprinkle some RPM. That's Fedora :D

@getacutiemark fedora is too different for me, i only have experience on APT-based systems, also Fedora is even more bleeding edge and GNOME3 is just, ugh :P alsssso opensuse is terrible, their fonts dont render properly so text looks weird and it doesnt sound like they're planning to fix it, also it's a bit chunky because of KDE (not juuust because but yee) xD

@ponydude I might give Ubuntu 12.04 a try GNOME2 is ugly and old, Mint looks not-nice, I don't get the appeal really; also I'm not a fan of Ubuntu's choice of going on Debian's unstable packages also 11.04/11.10 has so many annoying issues, I don't want to be able to break the OS as easilly as it's possible in Ubuntu (what I meant by windows-like-ish)

@ponydude yes and the charts are reporting more activity than the processes tab on task manager which means something isn't showing up in task manager

I would kill an inanimate object for a good reliable windows-like-ish Linux/BSD distro, I can't stand Microsoft but I'm over testing tonnes of distros every month to find one that isn't buggy or pointless or gimmicky or too much effort to use normally ;(

I did college, was underwelming and uninspiring, i did work for a web design/development company for a while, that ended (not fired or anything) but I wanted to do projects and stuff, went well-ish for a while but ive slowed to a stop right now .... when did i start leaking feelings?!
