@ninjawedding Roddenberry was arguably rather communistic in his beliefs. He invisioned the Federation as having abolished the need for currencies and personal wealth by means of their enlightened society (and practically, by being able to replicate just about anything at will), and the Ferengi would have contrasted this with the worst aspects of our current society - misogyny, cut-throat capitalism, and very selfish desire-fulfillment.

finished season 1 of The Good Place. overall I enjoyed it quite a bit, however I haven't warmed up to the ending going into season 2. I am interested to see where it goes but the second season has started off far weaker

@awl It also wasn't a large enough hit to stop the White House from using it—the exact car Kennedy was shot in had his brain matter cleaned out and a top added to it and it remained in service until the Carter administration.
