That scene in Banjo-Kazooie where Kazooie confesses her undying love for Banjo and they share a passionate kiss is sort of out of place. Not Rare's best work IMO.

@mrmattimation Remember that fan comic where Kazooie grew up in a religious town and her parents were died in a deliberate house fire for practising voodoo, and she was raised by the elderly priest, and when he died she was taken to an orphanage where the kids were routinely sexually abused, and after escaping she fell in love with Banjo after he peeked at her cloaca when he was giving her a bath?
