@thelastgherkin I bought a wiww server to play with and I had to point my DNS A-record at it, which means I had to change tumblr's config and set up a 301 permenant redirect on my server so that people would always see my tumblr whether they entered the www's or not.

@colfax No, British TV went when we tried to imitate the US programmes. It was okay to show yank telly, but somewhere in the mid '90s, all of the programmes created here started to be more 'American' if you know what I'm saying.

@ndogmario That I believe that UK produced television has changed in the last 20 years. I believe that the programmes created now seem to be aimed more at the US viewers, and less at the UK ones.
