  1. @adiwan Yeah, probably, but nothing a good 3D printer would not be able to fix... Probably.

    2DS's are actually good though...

  2. @adiwan I'll see if I can find you one first gen 3DS for about 40 Euro's. I got a guy. But know that you usually get what you expect in that price range.

  3. I don't want any drama. Believe you me, there is already enough of it on the internet regarding this topic.

Alec Holowka, the person who did about 95% of the work on a game known as "Night in the Woods" has passed away.

Due to the recent happenings with Zoey Quinn a lot of people are re-opening the kitchen-sink regarding almost all the big harms that remotely touched video games the past 6 years or so. I do not want any of that.

I just want to say. Alec, I do not know you, you do not know me, We no doubt would disagree on a lot of topics. But I'm almost sure that we could find twice as many we could talk about while sharing a cold one.

Everyone has skeletons in their closets, and dealing with them should be what you are going to be remembered for, next to where I believe a lot of your hard work can be found, the lessons and wise words of the NitW universe and the musical work you left behind.

May you find peace wherever you are.

Coworker : "Oh man I hate that laugh"

Me & other coworker : laughing like Peter Griffin

Boss peaks his head around the corner : "Aight what is going on here ?"

Coworker : "Oh I just hate that laugh."

    Boss : "Why ?"

    Coworker : "Because Peter Griffin"

  5. @mrmattimation "every piece of art can be criticized though the eye of the beholder. Noone, not even the original artist, can tell the beholder to be wrong" - Jim Sterling a recent video of his. http://rainbowdash.net/url/875120

My qualm is that someone can take a look at your comic about getting robbed and also shout "Keep politics out of my cartoons". He probably would not even be halfway as wrong compared to what your whole take about unionization is to a non-american.

You should make life easier on yourself, not harder.

  6. @scribus I did some calculations. Technically I could make a prototype of something like this at the next nerd-camp I go to ( just 48 weeks from now. can't wait )

But it probably will not be comfortable, and might just end up looking like bad "Tin Woodsman" cosplay... and it might not even be in any way better than to just inflate an inflatable boat and use it as a bathtub.

    Hngg. Choices.

  7. @ceruleanspark My guess is that they could not decide between the hard cheese and the soft cheese.

  8. @scribus Yeahhh, that works. Thanks.

Though I am starting to see why a product like this has not been made IRL yet...

  9. I would like to know the name of that thing I probably saw in the simpsons once.

It was pretty much a pool + active filter setup, except someone was wearing as some sort of suit while watching TV.

  10. @scribus Oh please relax I am pretty sure that this place is forgiving and...

Oh wait, Twitter ? no, I am sorry, Pretty sure people have already dumped your address on the dark web & in search for an assassin, but the language barrier is just too great to overcome. I mean, who here speaks Czech ?

"But I do not live there"

I never told you it was the correct address.

  11. @adiwan Favorite ?

Normally I would pull a Goku from DBZA here http://rainbowdash.net/url/875107

But I really, REALLY do not feel like any food would favorite me back right now.

    Except for maybe weak soup.

  12. Today I experienced something for the first time that almost everyone takes for granted. Throwing up... It tasted like... Crystal Clear Sparkling Lemon... Nothing in the world could have prepared me for THAT.

  14. @mrmattimation "We have penetrated the mind of the stereotype Apple using Starbucks abusing user using artificial neural networking" would probably be a good Onion headline.

Then the comment section can be filled with people claiming to actually use these tools for something usefull, like http://codeparade.net/furry/

  15. @scribus Build a competetive drive, and the rest will come.

Including that solo indie game of your own.

Not to push you a certain direction, but I really like space :D

  16. @scribus What do you mean ? that is just training, theorycrafting, theorytesting, and putting it into action.

Also preparing about a month just for that event alone.

The biggest problem with YOU doing it is that you might not love those games as much as they do.

You know what CL4P-TP said in BL1... "I can see the code"

  17. @adiwan The way I figured after talking to some nerds, bad RMA's ( in the past ) bad temps ( in the past ) really shoddy bios updates ( in the past ) lots of lousy capacitors ( up till at least 2017 ), mangoty factory service ( as recent as 2018, though it could have been Amazon for that guy ) VCORE issues ( as shown on live hardware ) and rather lousy warranty compared to TUF ( Asus ) which everyone really seemed to love.

As for that adapter. I can not think of any use for it. Let me know if it works though. I mean the last thing I had that would probably even get some usage would be this ancient [ picture of pinnalce PCTV stereo PCI card ], which ofcourse is downright silly these days. There are better things on USB 2.0 than that card. http://rainbowdash.net/url/875102

Friday, 23-Aug-19 22:15:21 UTC from web in context
  18. @adiwan ... Who still has PCI hardware in 2019 ? I mean, I guess if I did then I would look at stupid things like this with really big eyes http://rainbowdash.net/url/875100

But yeah, most people I know avoid MSI and Gigabyte MoBo's like the plague.

Friday, 23-Aug-19 17:51:27 UTC from web in context
  19. @adiwan Ohh, yeah, when I buy a new CPU, MoBo, RAM, and format a entire disk, I just give the entire beast a new name. I guess that means that kinda auto-defeats the idea of upgrading in my head.

Especially when I have one of these really old fashioned end of the nineties hightower cases somewhere in storage. You know, the ugly ones with the side-braces that you could swap out for wheels.

But enough of my ramblings. I had been eyeballing a similar processor. What motherboard did you specifically get ?

Friday, 23-Aug-19 09:38:04 UTC from web in context
  20. @adiwan How do you manage to get 1800€ worth of upgrades for a PC whereas my complete builds usually do not even scratch 300€ below ?

Friday, 23-Aug-19 08:21:35 UTC from web in context
  21. @mrmattimation The country I am in does not have wall to wall 24 hour newscycles. The things that are spoken about are usually about what proper journalists think that the common man needs to hear about. Especially when it comes to democratically elected officials that are trying to spin a story into their benefit.

"Journalism is what we need to make democracy work" - Walter Cronkite.

Why do you think I am having such a hard time wrapping my head around the story you are trying to sell ?

  22. @scribus You did NOT just use the N word

  23. If I am reading this right, then the average speed that my Nintendo Switch was updating with was with 200 KBPS average download speed.

No wonder it took about 12 hours. Why Nintendo ? Why ?

  24. @mrmattimation I never said they were, I said that it was stupid of them to not exploit the situation and would rather follow the hype-train of Greenland when there is some proper gains to be had in another story.

The conclusions I can pull from what I just stated are quite limited. But if you can tell me that I am forgetting one key element then I'd love to hear it.

Thursday, 22-Aug-19 11:42:08 UTC from web in context
  25. @scribus Yes, I think so too. But someone or something is orchestrating.

Wednesday, 21-Aug-19 21:57:11 UTC from web in context
  26. @scribus I am not sure if I follow. You're saying that some people are covering their butts ? So I decided to piece some things together.

Eventually I found http://rainbowdash.net/url/875093 , which means that the news is already out there.

You say that by the time 'they' are done covering their butts, there's is nothing left for the real news.

But there is for the Greenland story ? But THAT is getting wall-to-wall coverage.

So again, why are the traditionally liberal and extremely liberal 24 newscyclists outlets not doing their "Gun control good" spiel instead of "Denmark good, greenland not for sale, small-hands-guy-bad"

Wednesday, 21-Aug-19 17:36:49 UTC from web in context
  27. @adiwan Oh hey I am a "that-one-box-er" too :D

Glad to hear support could help you out.

Wednesday, 21-Aug-19 15:40:44 UTC from web in context
  28. @mrmattimation And I am supposed to know that the NRA's HQ is in Fairfax ?

That only makes it more interesting though. WHY do the Democrats allow the news to talk about Greenland. If I am to believe you they are 'reversing' a bill, which sounds horrible.

Wednesday, 21-Aug-19 15:39:49 UTC from web in context
  29. @mrmattimation But democrats HATE trump. Why would they play along in a distraction that is so obvious that you figured it out.

Also who in the name of collusion itself are you calling Fairfax County's most well funded terrorist organization ? I tried googling it and turns out the "Women for Trump National Day of Training" is tomorrow. http://rainbowdash.net/url/875091

I highly doubt you meant that.
