@ceruleanspark You are always considerate of others and are genuinely just a really friendly person. You're very intelligent and you seem to consistently go out of your way to make other people happy. You are honestly one of the best people I've ever had the pleasure of meeting.

@ceruleanspark You're incredibly patient with all our bullmangoes on this site, and that alone is saying A LOT. I couldn't ask for a better admin here. I have a genuine respect for your intelligence too, both because I'm able to see it in your comments but also because you don't even need to flaunt it for us all to see that it's there. You're always willing to help folks out and if you do something you always have sound reasoning behind it. Without you, we wouldn't have RDN, and this is really a haven of sorts that means a lot to the regulars here so I can't understate your importance. I know all of this can be possibly be seen as superficial but I really do mean everything I'm saying. I have a lot of respect for you and think you're genuinely a good person, as do many others here.
As a sidenote, you and Gherkin are absolutely the cutest couple. I hope things look up for you, feeling down is never fun.

@northernnarwhal this reminds me of the Beedrill pic I did a while ago (http://pny.lv/7wbx) where I also tried foreshortening. The sole looks fine, but it seems you did a similar thing to what I did; the leg kind of looks like it's been squashed from either side, like you may notice on the drill part in my pic. It's a pretty difficult perspective... I never really figured out how I would go about fixing it, but in your case it seems you could probably fix it by lowering the point where the foot meets the top edge of the leg, and making the whole left side of the outline of the shoe and the leg more rounded like a semicircle (whereas currently it kinda looks more like an oval shape). Idk, it's hard to explain. I'd redline it if I wasn't lazy :v

@mushi I preordered 5 days before release, and now, nearly a week after release, they are apparently no longer available. I heard this was an issue for the North America release as well. I'm guessing a mix of low stock and high demand, so I would have had to preorder much earlier to get one probably. I decided I'm not really bothered though. Gamepad controls can't be that bad.

@nerthos I'm scared of talking to people so I could never do that anyway. If I could actually do that I would have had people to talk to in school. But the guys I sat next to in school I never talked to. Social anxiety. Yeah.

Recently I've been refusing to draw leisurely unless I have gotten some work done. But I procrastinate the work all day and by the time I've done some it's late and I should be trying to fix my sleep schedule so I'd feel bad about taking time to draw then instead of going to bed. But I always end up going to bed late anyways and not doing any drawing either. Ugh

@mrmattimation From what I gathered, by this point people were wreaking havoc just for the sake of wreaking havoc. The original motive for protest was lost pretty quickly, and most of those involved either didn't know or didn't care why everyone was rioting, but they were like "dude let's go break some windows and loot some grapes, everyone else is doing it". That's my assumption anyway, don't know too many details. And I dunno if this is usually the case for riots.

It really hasn't been all that long since I last laid in bed fantasising about methods of topping myself. It's weird to think about when your not in that state of mind of course. It's weird that you forget how much people really care about you. It's weird that you forget your strengths and potential, and forget how strongly you can influence your life ahead of you. And it's always sad to see others experiencing these feelings, because I know it can be very hard to accept anything you hear that contradicts what your mind is telling you. I can't think of a good way to end this wall of text and I spent so long writing it that it seems people aren't really sad anymore, but basically: don't underestimate yourself and the effect you have on others' lives.

@thelastgherkin Not yet. I actually didn't manage to work that out until I watched the replay of my 150cc (third) playthrough. So I tried it in Mirror mode but kept messing up because of going 2fast. But yeah, stuff like that, essentially putting a Zelda-esque puzzle on the track, as well as the rupees and item sound effects of course, is what did it for me too.

@ellistia I didn't notice at first but it sounds like the item randomiser noise after you pick up a question block is a sped up version of the "about to open a treasure chest" fanfare.
