  1. @zeldatra 60 year old yakuza, who has seemingly not aged a bit, landing with amnesia on a beach on Hawaii, taking over a sail-ship and doing classic pirate stuff. We need something more extreme than jumping the shark to even get close to this.

  3. @zeldatra I really want to have anything with sugar and high caloric food to be taxed. I cannot wait until Germany does the same as the UK and Poland and many others.

  4. @zeldatra Only when I'm supposed to meet a man with white shoes and two cigarettes. His name is Thomas, and he will be expecting the codephrase. If Thomas is not present within 2 minutes of the arranged meeting time, I am to board the return train and . . . Uhh, wait....

  7. @zeldatra It makes me think of all the lead water pipes that might be in use today. This kind of brain damage cannot come from nowhere.

  8. @zeldatra Everybody wants to be rid of Diet Mountain Dew. This could have united the nation, but our so-called "lee-durrs" have to split us asunder yet again

  9. @zeldatra I'm about to write the old Catholic in my capacity as a member of the clergy, counsel him to consider that maybe he's being a little Prideful in this matter...

  11. @zeldatra Similar to Berlin that is so broke that any official paperwork and permit takes an eternity and there is a high likelihood that offices are closed without any good reason, and most places are a cherryhole. I was only a few times there and it wasn't a pleasant experience.

  13. @zeldatra In this day and age *sleepy* is a positive word. I would trust a person less if they were called *sleep-deprived* instead.

  18. @zeldatra Can it really be worse than Paradise PD on Netflix? I was instantly disgusted by Paradise PD. Also I never heard or Mr. Birchum. Just the name of the show sounds like a show about a family in a box standard suburb and Mr Birchum is the mostly clueless but well-meaning man with emotional and communication problems towards his family.

  19. @zeldatra It's sad that US politics is so extremely polarized for so long that only two parties are "viable" for voting. I don't know but maybe he was leaning towards Republican because of some topics that were OK but was ignoring the horrible other stuff and rationalized them away.

  20. @zeldatra I'm also inflicted with the same life question. I'm suffering for any new RGG game while contemplating if other things in life can fill out the void but never can. You can play Ishin. If you're adventurous you may play Kenzan (the other that plays in old Japan) or Kurohyou 1 and 2 (the PSP games).

  27. @zeldatra If I were in the US I'd be called a filthy communist. I'm all for universal healthcare. In Germany you can opt-out and be privately health-insured. I'm against that as rich people dodge paying into the general health care fund, making the poorer pay more. I'm also for free public transport (bus, tram, trains) as they are a key part for poorer people to participate in society and make it easier for them to get or maintain a job (also environmental benefits). I think most of the political landscape would burn me like a witch, except is a giant BBQ with a US flag paint job.
