@toksyuryel XD That happens to me sometimes too. Nah, I do hate the sound though. But it's more that it doesn't feel like a spectacle anymore to me. And you have a point with the impact they have on the environment.

@toksyuryel Yeah, those are annoying. They were great when I was a kid, but now it's more like "Woopdie-frickin'-do." And to think that the Chinese invented fireworks long before the US was even a nation.

You know, Independence Day is great and everything. But, uh, I don't really celebrate zealously or even casually despite having been born and living in America. I'm not very patriotic for a variety of reasons, though I am thankful at times to live here rather than some other places in the world. =\

Just applied for another job at 7-11. I'm not sure about this one, but I might actually get an interview if I'm lucky. I'm kind of nervous about all of it.

@woona I'm trying to just get a simple part-time job in retail for now and just for the summer. I applied to one place, but I think that I might apply to another place just so that I have more of a chance of getting hired.

@toksyuryel I've tried doing that, but it really screws with my body. I usually just try to reset my schedule by staying up a whole day and then going to bed the next night.

Took the practice GRE. Got between a 480 and 580 (out of max. 800) on the Verbal portion and 540-640 on the Math section (again out of max. 800). My question is how the hell did I do better on the math sections when I'm a better writer and reader than I am a mathematician? Hopefully those scores are good for a person who wants to go to grad school for English Lit.

@omni I'm at the point where doing that is reducing my capacity to be independent. It's utterly annoying. I'm 21 and I've never had a job because I've always been denied even an interview. It's frustrating.
