@rainbowflash I bought 2 with my own money, gave a rarity to my philosophy teacher who would always go to great lengths to reference unicorns and kept a rainbowdash for myself. I didn't exactly try to hide it from my parents, but it wasn't in direct sight. Right now I have it in my closet near some hats so my room mate doesn't think I'm a COMPLETE nerd.

@ceruleanspark He's even luckier than I realised...I love horses, I'd love to just have one. So he has two houses and a string of horses, which are very expensive animals and bring in good money and he complains? Unlucky son of a...mare.

@rotation I can see your problem. Metropolis isn't obviously a sci-fi. We are used to see sci-fi as flicks that take place in space or in dystopian futures. Back then it was the definition of sci-fi. Skyscrapers as high as the sky itself. Machines everywhere. A city-wide surveillance system. Robots. Planes that fly through the city. Times changes. Sci-fi changes. But I think we know each other's point of view about this.

@rotation I'm honestly not too keen on that film personally. Besides the story with HAL it failed to invest me or even interest me ,I do understand its impact on film as a medium, but to me it seems like it was more of a special effects demonstration, a very impressive one for the time ,but still. (A popular online critic by the name of Confused Matthew shares my opinion on the film, but he's...a bit more sarcastic with the delivery of said opinion ,but yeah)
