Just got a text saying that my mobile allowances have been topped up by Virgin. Glad for it too, means my mobile internet won't cost £2 a day to use anymore, will take care not to go over the limit again, as that is something I'd rather avoid. (I was fine for calls and texts, it was the internet I went over my allowance on.Does make sense considering how much I use my smartphone to get online in and out of the house) !techponies

@cabal What ever it is, that program their kids told them to run instead of running the Internet when they connect on American Online. (Sorry, I hear this from my parents all the time, too. Sad testament to the level of computer expertise in my family to think that I somehow wound up the family "computer person".)

Looks like it's possible that the site problems were due to us exceeding the daily quota for the geolocation service we used. Or a DoS attack. Or both! 9.6

@colfax I disabled the geolocation plugin for now. Let's see if it helps. If so, I can probably implement a local geolocation proxy. That'd cut down on the number of requests we send.

@leonkfox only downside is the 360-S uses sata where as the original uses notebook IDE. Unless you use the transfer cable the 120gb wont work. !vgp !techponies

I was going to buy some credit for my "3" USB Dongle, I really don't want to have to use this phone all day and all night again. (I have to whilst at my nan's, if I want to get online) but it's been so long since I used my 3 account that I've changed debit cards and need a password that I've forgotten to be able to change it x.x So, phone for the night it is...(I hate Virgin) !techponies

Our f****g internet connection has conked it AGAIN. I would call Virgin about it, but mum's being applesy about me calling them, even though I didn't ask HER to :S She's always like this when she needs a nap, I thought I was groggy/grouchy when waking up or on the verge of going to sleep. Our main internet connection has conked it...AGAIN! That's another £2 added to my Virgin Mobile internet bill, it's that much a day until the 13th of next month. I'm ringing them up tomorrow to complain, because this is unnacceptable, it dies at least once or twice every day as of late, for several hours at a time. !techponies

Wi-Fi stopped working so I had to start using my Virgin Media Mobile Internet again. It's £2 or so a day until February 13th, which is when my allowance is topped up next. I can see this being quite a big bill to pay x.x (Some "Unlimited" contract, makes me wish I were with 3) !techponies
