@bronymike !vancouverbronies Well, I put up the SurveyMonkey thing which is really basic and it's got 11 responses so far. What do you want to go with? You had expressed concerns about using Facebook for it and I had my own concerns, so I set that up.

@mcbrony @bronymike !vancouverbronies I don't see that we really need one (this works fine, generally), and I think it makes more sense to have one go-to place for group stuff, rather than fragment our presence across multiple sites. Also, I despise Facebook and try to use it as little as humanly possible, but that's just me. :)

@bronymike @tequilasunrise !bcbronies if you guys are concerned about facebook being too open to public, we can create a "secret group" in there. i'm in a couple of these private groups. posts are not public in there. let's make "BCbrony" secret group on facebook :)

@fang8989 @bronymike !vancouverbronies Yeah, my other concerns about Facebook would be a) I wouldn't want people to have to sign up for it just to RSVP and b) the very fact that it will get plenty of people's attention, and I don't think we want the attendance numbers to get out of hand.

@bronymike yeah. Unfortunately it was the only way I could actually get people to come to my meetup since there are only 2 active utah bronies including myself.

!vancouverbronies @bronymike ok, first off I would like why its better, he hasnt said anything he just asked where it was at, his exact words being "Cool! where are you watching it?" I posted both metro rooms and the library rooms, saying we didnt quite know yet but we had it narrowed down and if he had any say it would be fair to assume his vote would tip the vote, I also gave him some contact info if he had any questions and what not

!bcbronies @bronymike @tesla500 Good to hear, that will lower the price by about 150$, the library has the screens so it works out. anyway Mike. Here is the link for the rooms http://www.vpl.ca/rooms/spaces.html I was thinking of getting either Peter or Alma, pics are there, they seat 60 and have projector screens. If Daniel wants to watch it live, they do offer internet. How fast I do not know, but I can find out this Monday after work. I can do it on the internet but I rather talk to someone so I will head down.

@bronymike !bcbronies I can get a projector, speakers, laptop, whatever is needed to show the episode. I'm not sure if internet is available, but as echron1000 said we can just download it and bring it over. A high quality torrent is usually up within a few hours of airing.

@bronymike ORLY now? I'm in Comp Sci... I've been avoiding the business courses because they look incredibly boring. It's worth mentioning that if I can find a few other langara students, we can form a 'club' and book one of rooms (along with the huge kiwi projectors) for a say. Assuming !vancouverbronies aren't a rowdy bunch that would would stand out in a college, it would make a great meeting place. I've done that a few times for lan parties (just don't tell anyone).
