@pony What we really need is for more big names to use this place actively. We've got @forestrain and @bronymike, none of the other big names. @sethisto technically has an account here but he only made three posts a year ago and never posted again. @purpletinker doesn't post much either. If we could get more big names on here, they could get the word out and lots more people would come too.

!vancouverbronies @bronymike I will have my netbook at fan expo. I'm sure we can find somewhere with wifi to watch the episodes. I would just need someone to bring external speakers as mine are not that great on the netbook itself. We would also need a place where they would let us use speakers. What time are the episodes playing?

@bronymike Why thanks! I have the initial TJ so I go by that online sometimes. Also, I'm hoping to have fan expo (Vancouver, yes haha) be the premier of my updated Pinkie Pie costume, with a surprise twist.

!vancouverbronies @bronymike @tequilasunrise hmm...okay then, why not instead of planning a con we start with a larger scale meet up. So far it's been the island, and the closer parts of the lower mainland, but why not expand to as much as all of BC/Alberta/Yukon(?)/Washington(??)? Obviously this isn't going to happen tomorrow or anything, so we have as much time as we need. Either way, it was just a thought, but if we have enough on board, I don't see why not, as long as things are thoroughly planed :) But yeah...weather could be a problem. Early Summer seems like a good place to start. Late summer would be out of the question though, Seeing as august is EFNW. hmm. I'll certainly get thinking on it.

@arctempest !vancouverbronies Well, @bronymike and I were discussing such a thing with @afancorp there for a bit but it hasn't been brought up again in many months. A con is a pretty serious logistical exercise, though. Bigger meetups would be easier, I agree. And yeah, we know all about outdoor meetups and weather patterns...

!bcbronies @tophat @bronymike I was thinking more along the lines of people who can't actually make it to seattle. I mean, my parents are pretty relaxed, they'd actually let me go by myself, however, some bronies my age, or even up-province might not be so lucky. However, I guess you're right in regards to attendee cannibalization of EFNW. That being said, if it were to be set up, I obviously wouldn't plan it for the same time as EFNW. Although...Hmm...august you say? Sounds like a plan.

@bronymike !vancouverbronies: The story has been broken up into five volumes, I wish I had prices but my work takes up 12 hours a day as of late to find out. There is two ways this is happening. The main hub is in the USA and so far it is looking to be about 80$ ish depending on the shipping. How big the order is however drives the price down so we might just send the our order there and they ship to us.

@bronymike Ah, well, we collectively praise you for mentioning RDN on that video, especially since Cabal just made a post about needing ideas to spruce up the site, since the 1 year anniversary is coming, and we're losing users. :/
