@cabal I vote for the Englishmen (ceruleanspark and mrdragon).
-
@cabal I vote for the team that are actually active members of this site. So @mrdragon and @ceruleanspark.
-
@cabal Cerulean and Dragon, definitely. I'm surprised you even have to ask.
-
@cabal I have never heard of this "nido", so I'm gonna have to go with ceruleanspark and mrdragon.
-
@cabal I wished to be ruled by @ceruleanspark cause he seems like such a nice pony

@cabal was out shopping there, right. I have a average/good understanding of both pho and mysql, I am still learning Linux however I've not blown anything up yet so by my experience that's a good thing. I was wanting to go with the original plan that was in the works a while ago. You were going to give the site to @ceruleanspark and then he asked me if I had the ability to let him host it on my hardware. Which I agreed to, with his professional skills in all the needed areas I think this to be the best option on hoof. He runs it and I keep the hardware going. By payments I expect you mean that I can pay for my own server, if so yes, its £72.00 a month and situated in a professional datacentre by my company rapidswitch.

@cabal so are you gonna put a doniation box

@cabal I appreciate what you're doing now for this site, especially considering the amount of frustrtion you must experience from people like me crying "fire!" and running wildly about. But honestly since I have only been on this site for a handful of days, I wasn't aware of who you are and what you do for RDN. What I say may not mean much since I'm more or less a complete stranger here, I wish to say that this will be my favorite social network site for ponies, even if it has to shut down, because this site is user-friendly and I can't make a lick of sense of the other sites I've tried (I'm social-site challenged). When it comes to things as big as this, it's impossible to receive the amount of gratitude you're actually due because the positive consequences of this site from what I've heard are profound. This here is my personal thanks to you, now that I know you are responsible for RDN in the first place, and I'm glad I am able to say that now before it's (possibly or not!) too late.
-
@cabal i like you, i think you're awesome for making this in the first place
-
@lyokotravels @pugs911 @cabal owns the site, @purpletinker runs it for now. With myself and @colfax dealing with moderator and administrative issues on hoof.
-
@cabal Stop being cryptic.
-
@cabal WHINING? We are NOT whining. Do you want to HEAR whining?... no but seriously who's whining?
-
@cabal i'm not whining '-'
-
@cabal Whining about...?

@cabal OOH how about themed days like Equestria Daily does? Like they did with the whole Daring Do Network thing. That looked pretty cool. There is a site called Ponies Are My Passion that lets you change the homepage background based on your favorite mane 6 character. And how about a users counter, like the tally thing that EQD does, but it shows how many users there are on the site. Clouds in the background like @minti said would be pretty cool too.
-
@cabal How about more advertisement? RDN seems fine to me, but a little advertisement might give it a boost
-
@cabal how much money does it take to fund the site per month?
-
@doates @getacutiemark @misterjaybrown And then @cabal said he was gonna shut it down.
-
@cabal I'm curious now. How much, exactly, IS RDN's monthly bill?
-
@lightningcrash Don't look at me old friend, you will need to talk to @cabal or @purpletinker but first we need information from either of them on the permanent state that RDN is in.
-
@cabal Is there anything we (i.e. the community) can do to help? Running a site is a lot of work, as we've discovered with Everypony Sings, and that's leaving aside financial issues. But we really appreciate RDN and don't want to see it go!
-
@redenchilada The reason I told you to check @cabal's timeline... ugh, talking in circles. And what the buck is the GNAA, @toksyuryel?
-
@redenchilada Read @cabal's timeline
-
@cabal If that were said from the start, most of the drama on the public timeline could've been avoided.
