Yo !easttxbronies! I was grocery shopping at Kroger last night and was pleasantly surprised to find them selling ponies for $2.99 in a bin near their Christmas stuff! I got Dewdrop Dazzle and Cupcake, but they also had most of the Mane 6, Blossomforth, and Lulu Luck. They might have had some of the other newer ones, but I didn't look deeper in the pile because I was in a hurry. I figured it was worth mentioning, though, because $2.99's a good deal! :D

@scar I think they might go on sale soon, too, because they were in the area where all the xmas stuff was, and the xmas stuff was getting marked down, so...might be worth checking out, esp. if they drop down to half price!

Whoo Hoo! What a delightful Christmas ^_^ - Im going to try at least 2 new things this new year! Caligraphy - with my new quill & ink well & practice air brushing to make better painted customs...One more thing - make stencils for the cutie marks. I haven't made a list is years. I prefer suprises. This year I got some very creative things - an inkwell & quill from my brother Mike, Barnes & Noble gift card from Kevin, Sode Stream - instant soda, what an awesome concept, Laser remote control helicopters - 4 of them, one for my 3 siblings & me. So far my bro Kevin and me have been using them to tease the dogs. Forest doesn't like it at all, Heidi just stares at it, too lazy to move until it gets too close. Thats just a few things I remember off the top of my head at the moment. Im going to have to look for a new little round table to write on, paint on, etc. & a new shelf to store my pony collection. My current shelf ran out of room with my new custom - a skeletal pony

Another Funny Skyrim Moment! I'm just wondering the map and find a small bandit hideout in what I thought would be a drougr dungeon. In stealth mode, I get to the first room just down the stairs from the door. There are 2 bandits sitting at a table, and a third with magical ice ability that I didnt see at first in a room to the right. I shoot one bandit at the table - halfway to death, alerting the 3rd bandit. I sneak retreat back up the stairs as all 3 investigate the spot I shot the first arrow from. When they walk away, I target the same bandit as before., and just as I release the arrow, the other bandit that was sitting at the table, runs out of the room from the right, into the path of the arrow, killing him in 1 shot! Had a good laugh out of that one! #Skyrim

Dammit Computer! You picked a fine time to crash! -_- I have some things backed up, but not in the past 2 months. Lost all my screenshots, music files, at least half my pony folder...at least those can be replaced. Bigger problem is the color is F*yay*ed up. the background is all pixelated and flashing. Can't seem to fix it at the moment. The good news is with my computer now clean slated...for the most part...I hopefully wont have the same damn problems I've been having the last year or 2.

@princessweetiebelle 1 terabyte = 1000 gigabytes ...and I check the external hard drive box, its only 2 terabytes, but still that's ALOT of pony

@cypresswolf Alright, Direct X upgrade fixed the flashing pixelated background problem so the screen is in great clarity. Next comes finding all the websites I had in my fav folder and sorting them out, then rebuilding my pony/animation folders. I LOVE FUN THINGS! XD

Another thing, It would hurt to learn how to style hair a bit, some of these customs have extremely long hair and need to be trimmed a bit. I'd feel out right silly bringing one up to a barber to trim it for me. Can you imagine the looks you'd get? HA!

@macpony55 It might be a possibility, but I was thinking along the lines of practicing on the pony bases before ripping the hair out. Having a show accurate Roseluck is what Im going for. After that....maybe try my hand at sculpting. A Sherriff Silverstar is wanted in my collection.

@macpony55 I started on customs back in september when I saw how much they were selling for. Now that I've tried to make a few, It's not as easy to do. If you know what you're doing and can make them look good, you can make some money on them. I'm still trying to find the right paint technique...and don't get me started on rehairing...I haven't quite found the right way to do it. Tails are easy, the manes on the other hand....I gave up for awhile, now I just want to go back to making customs to fill some holes in my collection for customs I havent seen made yet. Also to try out several ideas of my own.

I've been thinking...It's been a couple of months since I posted anything about trying out customs. I've collected about 20 since July and with each new one I recieve, I examine the skill that went into painting them. Some of them are painted so well, it looks like the actual color of the pony base. However, when it comes to painting the cutie mark on those 3-4 inch ponies, the size of the space where it goes is an issue. Come January, I'm going to try another Roseluck and hope it comes out looking better than the first. I bought a new base the other day, Flitterheart, with a dvd of The Ticket Master. I'll watch the dvd and see if there's a background pegasi or some idea to try out.

Epic Skyrim moment #6 I got a mission from the Jarl of Solitude to find a Talos Shrine between Fellgrow Tower & Shimmermist Cave. I fast travel to the tower, my horse, Shadowmere came with me. Just north of the shrine, I run into 2 giants & a mammoth who all start attacking my horse. I'm about to go after the giants when a Blood Dragon swoops down from above and attacks me. I make quick work of the dragon, pick up the chase after the giants, Shadowmere is nowhere to be seen, kill both giants before the mammoth catches up and suddenly the horse comes back to attack the mammoth, finishing the killing spree. THAT! Was an epic couple of minutes. With that victory, I called today's marathon play early. How do you top that!?! #Skyrim

Ok, I feel I need to vent a bit. What's applesed me off today? The Post Office! I just bought a new custom off ebay the other day, and it was shipped out on Monday, From Houston! Now the address it was shipped from is about a 30 minute drive from me and the packages should have arrived yesterday. Simple Delivery, right? Nope! I did not recieve my custom today either. Now here's what's got me angry. Saturday night I also ordered a calender from a company in Kansas, also sent out monday. Guess what arrived first? The Kansas Calendar! How the hell does an item from 2 states away reach my doorstep before local mail does? I've already raised hell with them over this earlier today, and If tomorrow my custom still isn't here, They'll get my anger face to face! No Excuse for that kind of failure to deliver mail!

I was about ready to head down to the post office again if it didnt show up, but when I saw how great of care they deliveryman was with the package, I couldnt stay mad. Not after I got the box opened and saw how well packed it was, just to preserve the head feathers.

I think I got the MOTHER of all glitches in Skyrim right now. I'm inside the East Empire Trading Company Warehouse, just looting the place, and there's a Friggan DRAGON! sleeping on the dock, blocking my escape. I've steathily killed all the guards but 2 near my exit, and I kept wondering just what the hell was spotting me whenever I stepped into a lightened spot. The guards arent even attacking it! I nearly ran into the damned thing. I admit, that's one hell of a guard dog. Holy Crap, DRAGON! EPIC GLITCH! #Skyrim #DRAGON #O_O

Double Rainbow Shots Ingredients 4 – 3 oz. Boxes of Flavored Gelatin 3 – Cups of Vodka 20 – Ice Cubes 3 – Cups of Boiling Water Directions 1 – You’ll be making 5 layers: Blue (top layer, poured last) Yellow (poured fourth) Red (double height) (poured third) Yellow (poured second) Blue (base layer, poured first) 2 – Make the first packet of blue gelatin by mixing the powder with ¾ cup of boiling water in a pitcher. Stir well until the powder is fully dissolved. Stir in 3 – 4 ice cubes until they’ve melted and cooled the liquid down to something approaching room temperature; then stir in ¾ cup of vodka. 3 – Use the pitcher to pour a blue layer into your glasses … you should get between 4-8 large shots out of this depending upon your glasses. You’ll wind up using about half your liquid. The other half will probably set up before you can pour it again for the final layer, so pour it in a bowl or use it as one-flavor shots.

@cypresswolf 4 – Put the glasses in the fridge to set. This should take 30 – 60 minutes. 5 – Now make the yellow gelatin just like you made the blue. Pour your layers, careful to use only half the liquid. The other half can be kept at room temperature. You should be able to deploy it a second time before it sets up at room temperature. Cool the glasses again so the first yellow layer sets up. 6 – Make the red gelatin. Pour a double layer on top of the yellow gelatin, and let it set up. 7 – Use the other half of your yellow gelatin to create a second yellow layer atop your red layer atop your red layer. Chill until it sets. 8 – Make your second box of blue gelatin and pour a blue top layer. Again, you’ll have about half leftover for whatever purpose you like. 9 – Chill your last layer, and you’re set!

#Skyrim funny moment 4) I have an arrow stuck in my avatar's face, it went in through the left nostril and the arrow head is sticking out behing the right ear. Those bandit archers have improved thier aim, but not nearly enough....they were slaughtered!

I'm gonna take this time to post some of the awesome moments I've had playing Skyrim just last weekend. 1) While looking for a town's icon I spotted on the map, I came upon a giant herding 2 mammoths. While sneaking around the giant, one of the mammoths just floated up into the sky, fell back down, and continued walking for a couple seconds before falling over dead....and the giant didn't give a *yay*! 2) I was clearing out a dungeon of Silverhands when I knocked one down through a cooking spit, impaling him, and his eyes were still blinking. Coolest Kill Ever! 3) Whenever I kill a dragon and absorb its soul, leaving its bones behind, and come back to the battleground later, the dragon bones will have moved, even if no more that a few minutes have passes. I had one fall out of the sky landing on the bridge to the mages college. I fought that dragon in the town of Winterhold below some 3 days before. These are just a few funny moments I've encountered. !sanantoniobronies there was a bit of a problem with the payment at the Dave and Busters meetup. Due to the way that Dave and Busters closes out tickets, we(the group) were left with 3 tickets that Dave and Busters had no record of being payed. These were: 1 water and 1 cheesesteak, totaling $12.36; 1 Dr. Pepper, 1 sprite, 1 cheeseburger, 1 parmigiana chicken alfredo and 2 $20 gamecards, totaling 75.68; 1 iced tea and 1 cheezeburger, totaling $16.51. If you paid these tickets and have a receipt, or inadvertently did not pay, we would like to know about it. In the case of the former, we'd like to show dave and busters the reciept so we can be refunded our money for paying twice, in the case of the latter, let us know and we will get it taken care of. Thank you.
