@wizzy707 Does the upcoming April meeting being at a sports bar mean all bronies under the age of 21 should sit this one out? I'm not trying to rage, or flame about there being an age limit, if there is one. However, being 18, it would be rather helpful to know these things so that I can see if the venue will be available to myself or not. Hopefully someone knows... I checked out Sro's website and couldn't find anything. If there is indeed a restriction that's A-OK with me, totally understandable!

@fluttershyftw Not at all sros is a family oriented place only the bar is off limits to people under 21 we will have a back room set aside for us aswell if you have any more question do not be afraid to ask we look coward to seeing you there

!Houstonbronies Hello Scootaleo, welcome to the group. Sorry I read you're message on too short of notice. One thing you may like while, you're here is the Houston Rodeo, it's the last weekend, there's a carnival, tons of bar b que and all kinds of food, the Livestock show is still going on. If that's not your thing, our Blue Bonnets are in bloom right now, growing all over the place, they're tall blue flowers with a white cap. I'm afraid I have other plans this weekend so I won't be attending any planned gathering, if there are any. But I will check here through the weekend, now that I see people starting to post again.

@unorthodoxx !Houstonbronies Yep, maybe the holidays are to blame. The last meetup was Dec. 3 at the Houston zoo. No word yet on the next one as I haven't seen anyone here post in a long while. There is a Houston Meetup page on facebook, but I have trouble viewing it without FB trying to make me open an account so I can see it. It's Extortion! I tell you!

I just thought of something. With such a vast difference in elevation giving me trouble, why didn't Applejack & Pinkie Pie have the same trouble when they visited Cloudsdale? Them being earth ponies with their hooves on the ground, such an extreme rise in elevation would have had them gasping for air - Especially Pinkie Pie. But what was Pinkie Pie doing? Cartwheeling with the greatest of ease - Meanwhile, I can't ascend a few stairs without getting winded. There's one detail the animators missed *kidding of course* :P

We all made it to Colardo safely. Checked into our lodging yesterday just after noon. We're at an elevation of somewhere over 10,000 ft. And, as a guy who lives most of his life at an elevation of under 150 ft, I feel like a fish out of water to say the least. However, the view is well worth the shortness of breath mixing with the below freezing tempts and the snow capped mountains in the distance under a clear sky - WOW! Im going to practice some sketching of the mountain range while the rest of my family goes skiing. There's a few bars and stores a few blocks from here and, believe it or not, It's College Week here! ^_^ I think that's self explanitory. Well, Im off to start the day.

Never tried dog sledding, there's one for the bucket list! I dont plan on skiing, but I'll find other things to do
