So how 'bout them brightly coloured cartoon ponies huh, guys and girls?
Sunday, 04-Mar-12 00:26:16 UTC from web-
@flaxx oh yeah, those things are pretty cool, i like the yellow one, she's nice
-
@flaxx I was barely able to watch any this week xD
-
@flaxx they're great. much better than religion!
-
@trister With the pink hair? Yeah, she's my favourite. That smart one with the purple hair and stuff is great as well.
-
@decibel Maybe we could fix this. PONIFY ALL THE RELIGIONS. #inb4crapstorm
-
@nerthos Did you watch today's episode?
-
@decibel And much better than non-religion too!
-
@minti I agree with this idea
-
@minti crap storm? no. it'd be much better than what they are. becasue ponies are better
-
@flaxx Ponies are clearly better than everything
-
@minti or maybe just make a better pony religion based on worshipping the sun and moon
-
@flaxx oh, the purple one is adorable at times. I like her too. and then there's that pink one, she always makes me laugh. and that white one. I really like her mane
-
@flaxx Not yet, I wasn't as hyped by a Fluttershy episode as I'm by other characters', so I played some Total Overdose and Plants vs Zombis. I'll watch it later today, or tomorrow.
-
@minti yo dawg, I put ponies in yo ponies so you can poni while you poni should poniponiuponiponiponiponiponiponiponiponipnoinpoiuponiponiponiponi
RDN's Lucifer likes this. -
@decibel They sure are!
-
@trister Yes, her mane is best. One of the best, anyway. Although I think I'd rather brush the yellow one's mane.
-
@minti He's not wrong. You people ARE annoying.
-
@ceruleanspark Yeah, I know we are. He's a very close friend so it's easy to see it from his perspective. xD
-
@minti I like how you just said cent twice to show that you gave us your opinion xD
-
@minti I know, we are all very silly
-
@minti yeah i know. there are people who don't like them because they meet the wrong bronies. they either meet the ones who like the show but don't force it. then there are are the ones who force it.
-
@axelgunn It's my two cents. See what I did there?
-
@flaxx hm, I do have to agree with you on that. But the one with the rainbow mane would be nice to brush too, it's very interesting. I don't know if she would stay still long enough though
-
@nerthos Ah. Plants vs Zombies is a valid excuse for not watching ponies! In fact, anything is a good excuse, because friendship and magic and stuff.
RDN's Lucifer likes this. -
@minti Yes, minti, I see what you did there xD Because your two cents is your opinion and yadda yadda all that jazz xD
-
@axelgunn XD I noticed you understood what I meant AFTER I replied, sorry! You're like one of 3 people to ever understand that. xD
-
@trister And that's when you bring out the ropes!
-
@ceruleanspark Whoa what do you mean "YOU PEOPLE"!?!
-
@starlightbolt "People who aren't me"
-
@minti That's just cuz I'm awesome :D xD
-
@minti I see what you did there, and I like it.
-
@trister No, I'm kidding. But yeah, the rainbow mane is cool. I wonder what would happen if you ruffled it so it wasn't in perfect lines any more.
-
@axelgunn Indeed you are, indeed you are.
-
@flaxx It would become white.
-
@ceruleanspark Good, I thought you meant black people right there. I was gonna have to call Obama.
-
@minti As are you!
-
@flaxx Rainbow Dash With bed-head. Someone needs to draw that, NOW.
-
@flaxx Plants vs Zombis is like drugs, but better.
-
@flaxx it would be very interesting to see. I think that would take too much effort though. I'll stick with the yellow one and her bunny rabbit
-
@minti I already have http://starlightbolt.deviantart.com/gallery/?offset=24#/d3jyjr1
-
@starlightbolt Haha not as messy and chaotic as I was imagining, still good none the less!
-
@nerthos That wouldn't be very cool, would it?
-
@thatonepony phallusy
-
@minti I'm sure it has already been drawn. I'd do it if I wasn't all not-wanting-to-do-it-right-now and stuff.
-
@nerthos With more zombies! And more, or less, plants. Depends on which drug we're comparing to.
-
@flaxx I'd do it too if I knew how to draw at all. #genericexcuse
-
@trister You can have the bunny. I'm keeping the pony.
-
@flaxx Nope. That's why she brushes and cares for her hair way more than any other pony while they're not watching.
-
@minti You can't draw?
-
@minti [Insert blatant self advertising here]
-
@thatonepony I blame you for not buying a computer with a better spellchecker
-
@flaxx Exactly xD though, the gardener could grow good weed on his zen garden.
-
@nerthos Someone need to canonise that right now.
-
@flaxx but the pony is the best... can't we share? I'm sure she would tell us to share.
-
@nerthos True. Though I wonder if that would really help him much.
-
@axelgunn Nope.
-
@flaxx Yes. The neighbor wouldn't be able to manage numbers and he would be able to grab free stuff.
-
@thatonepony "The" is spelled incorrectly. Did you mean "I love dicks". That prank?
-
@trister No, you're thinking about the pink one. You're right, though. One week each?
-
@minti Me either. Doesn't it suck?
-
@axelgunn Yeah, so much. xD
-
@nerthos They could be effective against the zombies as well. How would high zombies even act?
-
@flaxx I'll grab my drawing stuff xD
-
@flaxx The question is, can zombis be high? They don't even have working nerver, and don't breath.
-
@nerthos That's it, we need to get the zombies brains and a nerve system so they can get high.
-
@flaxx Lol. Bring the medical stuff!
-
@nerthos But I have no medical stuff!
-
@flaxx Let's steal some! We need knifes, an operation table, needles, a saw, yarn, stuff that goes "BEEP....BEEP" to add some dramatism, and glue. LOTS of glue.
-
@nerthos Sorry, I... 'used' all the glue yesterday.
-
@flaxx Oh. Well, it's time to buy more, I guess. Without it the things would fall off the zombis.
-
@thatonepony Not exactly what I had in mind.
-
@nerthos Damn zombies. They want to eat our brains /and/ they want us to glue them together so they can eat our brains.
-
@thatonepony I bet it would.
-
@flaxx We could glue their mouths shut too. That way we're safe.
-
@nerthos They'd probably rip our brains out anyway just for the hell of it, though.
-
@flaxx Oh, well. Who says full plate is obsolete? Let's get some Daedric. If we can be zombi surgeons, we can get daedric armor too.
-
@nerthos Daedric sounds like a splendid idea. Heavy as all hell to carry around, though. But it's worth it.
-
@flaxx We have something the Nerevarine hadn't. Cars.
-
@nerthos We don't have Guars, though... ;_;
-
@flaxx You're right. A couple of mules will have to do. I would love to have a pet scrib.
-
@nerthos Pet scrib is best scrib.
-
@flaxx I always liked those little guys. Don't know why. Maybe because they were the only ones not to try to murder me when I started playing.
-
@nerthos Their paralyse spell is extremely annoying in the beginning, though.
-
@flaxx But they don't hate you and do't attack on sight xD
-
@nerthos That's true. I always tried to kill them anyway, though.I kind of used the "I HAVE TO KILL IT BEFORE IT KILLS ME" tactic in the beginning, so I charged even if they didn't attack me on sight. >.>
RDN's Lucifer likes this. -
@flaxx I always felt bad when I killed some of them with an area spell or in those situations when three dremora are behind you, and you just shiver at whatever shows before you, raining fiery death upon it, all the while thinking "ohgodohgodohgod it'sgoingtokillme"
-
@nerthos Haha, yeah, I remember that. Also reminds me of that quest in the Balmora Mages Guild where you had to escort a guy to Pelagiad, and every time you try to defend him from a Guar or whatever, he'll cast an AoE spell that kills both you and the monster.
RDN's Lucifer likes this. -
@flaxx Fun fact, I was wearing the Lord's mail, those two unique gloves, daedric face of god, and all daedric stuff but the right shoulderpad; a daedric tower shield and nerevar's sword when I did mages guild quests xD
-
@nerthos Damn, I never managed to get my hooves on the Lord's Mail (and please don't spoil how to do it). That's a pretty impressive piece of equipment, though. I always did the Mages Guild quests in the beginnings because it was mostly just gather flowers and silly stuff like that.
-
@flaxx There's a quest, even if you can get it from the beginning. Do the imperial legion quests, and when you're knight or something like that, go to Ebonarm (if I remember it's name correctly) and start the imperial quest there.
-
@nerthos I thought I just said I didn't want to know?
-
@flaxx Hey, I didn't say how you get it. That directs you to lots of quests.
-
@nerthos True. Oh well, I barely play Morrowind any more, so I'll manage to forget stuff anyway.
RDN's Lucifer likes this. -
@flaxx I play it now and then, when I'm bored and only have my netbook xD
-
@nerthos Heh, I did play a bit a week ago or so. Gotta finish the expansions sometime.
-
@flaxx True. I'm still at the start of Bloodmoon, just after the fort thing.
-
@nerthos I managed to get quite far on Bloodmoon, but then I couldn't find a guy, and my computer broke down and yada yada yada so I lost my save file. That was years ago, though. Never did get very far on Tribunal.
-
@flaxx Tribunal is fun, but kind of evil. Very dark. Sotha Sil T.T
-
@nerthos Yeah, I haven't gotten very far, so I barely even know what it's about. Other than that the Tribunal are a big part of it, obviously.
-
@flaxx Murnhold, Almalexia, the king of Mournhold and the imperial interests.
-
@nerthos Ah. Pretty much what I expected. Damn Imperials, always getting in everyone else's business.
-
@flaxx The imperials only do a bit of what happens, and it's better for Mournhold than the other way around, you'll see.
-
@nerthos Well, yeah. And I don't really have anything against the Empire.
-
@flaxx I like Uriel Septim VII's empire. Fourth age Empire is another thing.
-
@nerthos Agh, it's been too long since I done any Elder Scrolling. I've already forgotten almost all the lore. Gotta start up Morrowind and start reading my library.
-
@flaxx Forgotten the lore? HOW CAN YOU! I read every single book in all games xD All my Elder Scrolls houses are full of useless but lore-related stuff, and I never sell any unique item.
-
@nerthos I keep all the books I find and stack them in my house to read from time to time. I'm usually busy with other stuff, though, so I don't often read much. >.>
-
@flaxx I only remove books from my inventory after reading them.
-
@nerthos But they're heavy to carry around!
-
@flaxx Whenever I get home I read everything and drop the books. Also I always build humongous carry capacity, pack mule is best TES class.
-
@nerthos True, but when you're a Mage it gets kind of difficult to be strong as well. :P
-
@flaxx The thing I like about TES is being able to excel in everything. I'm always omnipotent when I'm near the end of one.
-
@nerthos True, but I suck at playing for a long time on the same character, so I haven't really maxed out much on my Mage yet. Or wait... Perhaps I did max out Intelligence and Willpower, so I guess I'll be going for Strength and Endurance now.
-
@flaxx I play on the same characte until I'm so OP nothing stays alive more than 3 seconds in front of me. Then I play a second character, but it becomes OP at lvl 23 instead of 50. Killed Camoran in Oblivion with spell reflection. -spoiler- [sp]Nyznyrkvn[/sp] in Morrowind in like, 10 seconds, and ancient dragons on Skyrim in four seconds.
-
@flaxx I still have to figure how to do dungeons on Daggerfall xD
-
@flaxx Also, I'm not dedicated, stuff just happens for me in games. I play a bit and I find out I have more power than I need.
-
@nerthos Dungeons in Daggerfall are fun but they take so much time. Reminds me that I should totally try finishing that game as well. Because it's awesome. And heh, I guess you're lucky then. :b
-
@flaxx It happens to me since always. Maybe I'm just natural to it. The problem with Daggerfall, is that the dungeons don't even fit on the province! The game is so amazingly detailed, but those massive complex of tunnels and castle rooms just don't end. Hours of the same texture over and over.
-
@nerthos Have you tried Arena? It's worse, believe me.
-
@flaxx When I played it, I quit after the first goblin. When you don't know you have to drag the mouse to attack, it's very difficult. Still I miss those kind of games xD playing hours and hours, and the game still being incredibly hard. Modern ones are easy xD
-
@nerthos I agree. Casualisation and all that jazz. I don't want games to hold my hand through the whole game. Let me loose in a big world and let me figure out what the hell I'm doing myself, damn it!
RDN's Lucifer likes this. -
@flaxx And a cart. PLEASE, GUYS, LET US BUY A CART
-
@nerthos Also, money with weight. It was so fun to decide wether to hold a couple thousand coins or a sword.
-
@nerthos Yes please, that would make things so much easier. It'd be like Daggerfall with its horses and carts and stuff.
RDN's Lucifer likes this. -
@flaxx The random NPCs were good too, in Daggerfall cities felt alive. You could see that the town was the capital and not some village, with hundreds of sprites walking everywhere, and 10 minutes walk from one point to another. Since then, cities felt so small. Vivec was OK, but all the others... I mean, the imperial city holding no more than 200 people? It felt good to see lots of people walking around you.
-
@nerthos Exactly. I miss that. The Imperial City is kind of pathetic, to be honest. I mean, seriously, it's smaller than the tiny village I live in. The Arena and Daggerfall cities are great, even if the people don't really do anything else than walking around it. It still feels more like a real city.
-
@flaxx It's funny how we "old school players" like the same stuff, just some immersion, even if it's at the cost of graphics. I never felt really immersive anything older than '90s. Graphically beautiful, yes, but games with lots of graphics just don't do the same as old ones; them, with sprites and basic geometry, could make people feel like in a box surrounded by evil, or real bliss, or just jump of the chair screaming.
-
@nerthos That'd be my opinions surrounding the early Final Fantasy games. Much better than FF7, FF8, FF9... Though I quite enjoyed 9.
-
@forestrain I enjoyed FF8 more than FF7. Never played 9, but I enjoyed 10
-
@forestrain Old sprited games had that feeling of serious stuff, so well made.
-
@forestrain FF3 is best FF
-
@axelgunn FF9 was alright.
-
@nerthos Precisely. While good graphics can do lots for a game, no matter how amazing the graphics are, it just doesn't make a good game. I mean, of course I love watching beautiful landscapes and such, but I'd rather play something that's actually well made and entertaining, than something that just looks good. You can paint a pile of crap gold, but it's still a pile of crap.
RDN's Lucifer likes this. -
@flaxx Yeah.. the majority of the game should be its storyline and addictivity (idc if that's not a word). The same could be applied to sound. Even if you have a lot of pretty packaging around a CD, but the CD contained Beiber, then it is still audio trauma...
-
@flaxx I think good graphics in fact hinder the immersion a game can offer. I at least, can't feel the same in a game with three thousand polygons per model. I just indentify them as big masses of graphics, and can't be impressed by them more than "Wow, that's beautiful" because the graphics are too good to focus in other stuff.
-
@zennx Hopefully you mean FF3 as in 3/6j. If so, yes. If not, then NO! FF3 was TERRIBLE. <_> (Though, first introduction of a class system with onion kids being all powerful.)
-
@the20percent Well said. Although, all games are different. A good story + fun gameplay can make a great game. As can a good story + beautiful graphics. As well as fun gameplay + beautiful graphics. Just look at Just Cause 2. The story isn't the least impressive, but it's still entertaining as hell, and looks great.
-
@forestrain You shut your face, FF3 was the best, it has a flying tree fortress who'se boss requires you to use the worst class in the game to make it easy!!
-
@nerthos Hm... Can't say I agree with you there. Good graphics are usually a plus for me, but I'll never play a game only for the graphics. But to each their own, I guess.
-
@flaxx and the controlls are BS
-
@flaxx Just Cause 2 I haven't played.. only Just Cause 1 for the original Xbox... but it varies from person to person on what a game should contain.. for me, I play games like minecraft, and I'm happy enough with the graphics. I guess, it should be everything which you expect it be, if not more. Then it is a good game. If not, rage quit and toss the disk into a blender
-
@zennx I see nothing wrong with the PC controls. Nothing you can't get used to.
-
@flaxx Don't get me wrong, I love good graphics, but games with good graphics don't feel so deep to me. If they reach life-like levels, they could, but those enviroments, like doom backgrounds, were magical. It's maybe due to being unimpressed by things that look real.
-
@flaxx actually, I can't get used to console controllers, especially when you're messing around with the thumbsticks, as aiming with those things is just flat out torture
RDN's Lucifer likes this. -
@flaxx that's the problem controlls should not make you get used to them, they should feel intuitive and funcional
-
@the20percent Of course, I'm not saying everyone should love Just Cause 2. I'm just saying the lack of a good story doesn't automatically make a game bad. It can still have amazingly fun gameplay etc. And yes, Minecraft is fun as well (even though I've kind of gotten tired of it now).
-
@flaxx true enough..
-
@flaxx A game with a gr8 gameplay and story: MAX PAYNE, now that's epic right there
-
@zennx Half Life 1 :D
-
@nerthos Might be. And I agree with you on Diablo. At least Diablo II, I never played the first one much. The second's environments were absolutely amazing.
-
@the20percent Same here. I almost only play games on PC. Apart from Guitar Hero and platformers. I never play FPS on console. Just can't do it.
RDN's Lucifer likes this. -
@nerthos the gameplay is good, but the story is lacking it's basicaly: "apples has gone down GTFO"
-
@zennx A game that has amazing gameplay? Super mario.
RDN's Lucifer likes this. -
@zennx nobody can ever beat Duck Hunt's story line... Just sayin...
RDN's Lucifer likes this. -
@minti got to love that jumpin skillz
-
@zennx Well, to be fair, you always have to get used to controls to some degree. For me on Just Cause 2, it was like "Aim and shoot with mouse, move with WASD, jump with spacebar, enter vehicles with e", and that's enough for me. Then of course all the buttons for other stuff aren't the same as all other games, but it's easy enough to get used to if you ask me.
-
@the20percent hate the dog HATE HATE HATE
-
@flaxx Yes, even if Diablo 1's hell levels were more "dark" and "evil" than Diablo 2's. Those games were amazing. I feel bad for Diablo 3 and it's cartoonish style. I think all that has something to do with the fact than in the '90s games weren't such a big thing as they are today, and soccer moms and other lame stuff like then weren't complaining about everything, so there wasn't any kind of limitation in game history and art.
-
@zennx Never actually played Max Payne, but I've never really heard anything bad about those games.
-
@zennx I loved the story xD
-
@nerthos Half Life 1 was amazing.
-
@flaxx Look at Deus Ex, complex gameplauy yet simple keys
-
@zennx but he's one of the main protagonists...
-
@zennx I couldn't stand FF3... I think I've actually gotten closer to finishing FF2 than 3. I also really enjoyed FF5, despite nobody else enjoying it. <_>
-
@flaxx the only bad thing about the Max Payne games: Too short
-
@forestrain I LOVED FF5
-
@nerthos That's true. Although, I doubt Diablo III will end up as a bad game just because of that. From what I've heard from people who played the beta, it's supposed to be awesome. So I'm just crossing my fingers. :b
-
@the20percent arguably he's the antagonist, if it weren't for him the ducks wouldn't be flying, and if you miss he taunts you.
-
@minti >Has FF5
-
@flaxx That thrill when on the silo stages, and suddenly the sound of steel bending...
-
@princesshugs Which one was 5 again?
-
@forestrain FF2: "Me and my palls were walking in the woods when suddenly we come across 3 heroes, we thought we were done for, but then they started to beat the crap out of eachother and saying "OMG MY HP LVL IS GOING TO BE SO HIGH" and things like that, so we just left..."
RDN's Lucifer likes this. -
@zennx Are we talking Human Revolution or the old one? Because I've only played the first Deus Ex, and that was a few months ago. Never really got very far though, but that was more because I suck at thinking and I'm too stubborn to look up walkthroughs online.
-
@flaxx I didn't download the beta. But there's one reason why I know it isn't going to be as good as Diablo 2: It's meant to be played in groups.
-
@midnightoil true enough... but he did pick up your kill :/
-
@axelgunn I forget but the main characters name if you didn't give him was... Bartz? and I had it for the GBA.
-
@princesshugs OOOH Bartz. Yeah I know him from Dissidia. I liked that guy
-
@nerthos To be honest, it's been years since I played HL1, and I'm not sure if I ever finished it, so I don't remember very much. >.>
-
@princesshugs that's the one with the same job system as 3 right, Loved that one... I'm waiting for a remake... but so far only the GBA one...
-
@nerthos Oh, of course it won't be as good as Diablo 2. But that's like saying Skyrim won't be very good because it won't be (or more like isn't) the new Morrowind. Still good games, even if they're not exactly what we want.
RDN's Lucifer likes this. -
@flaxx Just play it with an old CRT. It's not the same with those bright LCD od LED monitors.
-
@zennx Wasn't it the "Late FF game for USA?"
-
@flaxx both, tho the first Deus Ex was much more complex in terms of the skill tree, but still had a simple key system
-
@nerthos Hm... I don't remember if we have any CRT's left, really. I would play on one if I could though. Because CRT <3
-
@nerthos I loved Diablo II.. one thing I miss about windows is the gaming capabilities. On the other hand, they are probably going to expand Baulder's Gate
-
@minti :D
-
@flaxx Why don't you have one? I still use them. So good.
-
@forestrain My favourite one. xD
-
@the20percent Wait, new Baldur's Gate?
-
@zennx Yeah, I remember the keys were pretty much normal FPS keys.
-
@nerthos I heard Blizzard is going to expand the baulder's gate series.. a 3rd one I believe is coming out after a hiatus from 2004.
-
@zennx lmao.
-
@nerthos Well, I only use my laptop nowadays, so it's mostly my dad and my stepbrothers who mess around with the desktop computers, and I'm pretty sure they threw those out. :/
-
@nerthos http://www.tomshardware.com/news/Baldur-s-Gate-Infinity-Engine-Trent-Oster-Bhaal-Beamdog,14868.html
-
@minti Ditto. Favourites: FF5; FF6; FF1; FF9; FF4
-
@forestrain I've NEVER played 6. Never, I refuse.
-
@the20percent Blizzard? With Baldur's Gate? NO. YOU CAN'T BE SERIOUS. NO cherries NO. Excuse me, I'm going to behead myself with a sword made of bubblegum.
-
@minti Which one was 6?
-
@axelgunn The one with Terra I think, and Kefka.
-
@minti What!? Why!?
-
@minti WHY YOU NO PLAY WITH TERRA AND KEFKA?
-
@minti WHAT?!
-
@axelgunn @forestrain I dunno. I just really hate the intro. I'm going to have so many people rage at me for this.
-
@nerthos *insert trollface here*
-
@flaxx Go on ebay and buy an old 15" CRT.
-
@forestrain FF1, FF3, FF4, FF5, FF7(with hardcore mod), FF8 (with hardcore mod), FF9(the skill learning reminds me of FFT)
-
@nerthos pay $3 for the actual monitor, $30 for shipping...
-
@zennx FFT FUUU RAAAGEEEEE
-
@axelgunn Kefka
-
@the20percent Doesn't matter, you can't play old games as you should with flat stuff.
-
@nerthos Meh. Too lazy. Plus I never use desktop computers anyway.
-
@nerthos but no... I think bioware is doing something with it... either a complete set for Baulder Gate 2, or a port to tablets, Idk... but there ARE rumors that something's being done.
-
@flaxx I couldn't live without one xD
-
@nerthos Heh, I've gotten pretty used to lying in bed with my laptop on my laptop. :P
-
@the20percent They did Dragon Age because Atari owns Baldur's Gate now.
-
@minti why it's even better then the main series
-
@nerthos idk... I have an unglazed LCD and it kinda feels like a higher res CRT... I'll even say that it runs my Commodore 128 emulator
-
@the20percent Fun thing, CRTs are able to reach higher definitions than LCDs or LEDs, and have better antialising, since they don't have real pixels.
-
@nerthos Dragon Age was good... Completed 1, working on Expansion Pack, but too broke to buy DA2.
-
@nerthos Dragon age two made me kill myself.
-
@nerthos The programmer in me keeps thinking your talking about a Common Run-Time library. Goddamnit.
-
@nerthos Perfect World is making a Nevewinter MMO
-
@nerthos though the aspect ratio is the real limiter for CRT's... I believe they are 4:3, whereas most newer resolutions are 16:9 or 16:10
-
@zennx I replied if ya didn't see it.
-
@carcino yeah... it really took a major fall
-
@the20percent I love 4:3. I'm not going to buy a lame 16:9. EVER.
-
@carcino Haven't played it.
-
@zennx It was bloody dreadful. I gave it to my friend for free. Told him to have fun with that Crap.
-
@nerthos Don't ever. Just pretend that Awakening Is 2.
-
@minti Actually, I do too. The intro totally put me off of the game when I was... like... 5. >.>
-
@nerthos but... but... its really good! I've been using 1440x900 for years now, and never looked back... even though its not quite 16:9, there isn't much difference
-
@forestrain Haha
-
@the20percent Come on, they say it's 40" but it has the area of an 28" 4:3. It's awful. Things fit in awful manners. Don't get me started on the issue.
-
@thatonepony I don't mind that just... It wasn't... The gameplay and story and characters (save for Verric) are bland. Anders was the worst thing about the game. The ruined him.
-
@thatonepony my monitor can't go up that high... my best monitor is a 1600 x 900 so :/
-
@nerthos *le getting you started on the issue*
-
@the20percent Seriously. Talking to me about that is like saying "BURN ALL THE HOMOS" to all those guys who rage about it without reason.
-
@thatonepony Eh, I always had headcannon voices for my Warden and they were hilarious. My Warden was a Grade A murdock.

@nerthos :D
-
@the20percent The only difference is that I know how to handle myself, even if it's just for the sake of not being a completely useless and lame human being.
-
@thatonepony I have a $1500 dollar computer, with a suckish graphics card and a 19" ViewSonic. I will get a monitor and graphics upgrade soon enough :/
-
@nerthos true, you do handle yourself...
-
@the20percent I believe that if I'm not able to conquer my own mind, I'm not worth of claiming anything.
-
@thatonepony Well it started off like that so It's not a big change for me.
-
@the20percent with a network adapter that handles packet injection in the mail* THE NEIGHBORS WIRELESS CONNECTIONS ARE NOT SAFE :D
-
@thatonepony Mine was assembled in August :/... anyway, I had to cut short a few things because I only had a $1500 budget so :/ I was planning on a GTX 560 Fermi, but I instead had to rip out the graphics card from my old computer (GTS 450). Anyway, I'm not using it for gaming so :/
-
@thatonepony Like, Dragon age 1, had no main character voice acting. But 2 did. So its just abrasive.
