@reallifefluttershy Aah... that sounds a lot like me, actually... and my ADHD is really bad. Like, my meds are ~3x more powerful than just standard Ritalin and they make me grind my teeth, they make me jittery and cold, and they suppress my appetite down to the point where I won't eat anything all day. Yet they still aren't powerful enough to get me to concentrate fully. However, if I don't take them, then I lose any ability to do work whatsoever. I really despise having to take them but I don't really have a choice...

@ceruleanspark Yeah, I think I remember you saying that at some point. I know occasionally I'll feel fine while taking them but I'm trying to figure out how I'm doing that. :/

@yodelerty I'm sure you don't care, but I think it's because they both act as monoamine reuptake inhibitors. It must be something to do with the resultant buildup.

@yodelerty It's in your sleep that it happens. If you talk to a doctor they'll give you a thing to put in your mouth overnight to help break the habit.

@yodelerty and what is this one called? I've been taking concerta every day since a long time, and all it's ever done to me is take away my appetite for the whole day and allow me to concentrate better.

@techdisk42 I would be dead at school if I took that. Maybe it would help if I ate breakfast or something... really, I'll be immensely happy when I find a way to feel normal while taking these.

@yodelerty I get jittery if I don't take my concerta! You should see if you can take something like strattera or something. BTW, concerta actually is Ritalin, but it's a long-acting capsule or something... (WHY do I know all this? I'm 16!)

@reallifefluttershy I always try to have fun! And I only have to take my meds during the school year. In the summer I can do without. And, no, I don't have a special somepony. This may be a result of my attitude towards people (i.e., By default I assume everyone hates me unless they say otherwise) and, as a result, I also don't consider myself a very nice person. Basically, I don't think I'm someone anyone would ever want to be around.

@techdisk42 Yeah, I read up on some of these meds because I was curious if there was a better one for me. It turns out... not really. In any case, I love days when I don't have to take them because it actually lets me be myself. Same reason I love summer. No school, no pills, no stress.

@reallifefluttershy I'd like to meet you... but I don't think you'd like to meet me. I'm a much different person online than IRL. When I'm online, I can control what I say through the power of proofreading. In real life, however, I often say offensive/incredibly rude things for no reason. I don't mean to; it just sort of happens.

@ceruleanspark Yeah, I'm pretty happy about that part. If I got withdrawals, I'd go yell at my doctor to give me something else.

@techdisk42 I'd like to be able to focus on things without the side effect of feeling like crap. If I get really into something, I can focus for hours without the need of my meds. School, however, is school. And I can never get into it because of that one fact.
