      1. @ceruleanspark Hi. My name's Ryan and I was joking around. Thanks for not taking what I said seriously and getting too butthurt about it.

        1. @clayinthecarpet Hi, my name's [REDACTED] and I was being sarcastic. You've never seen a skit where a character is reeling off a list of their virtues and a bystander adds "Modest too!" before?

Monday, 13-Jan-14 23:16:11 UTC from web
          1. @ceruleanspark No I haven't. :X Sorry.

            1. @clayinthecarpet Well, imagine it as an exchange between Trixie and Twilight and you'll pretty much have it.

              1. @ceruleanspark hehe, gotcha. *is Trixie*

      2. @ceruleanspark I was chiding myself, as well, which is why it was funny. I'm way lazier with my art than you guys realize.

    6. @clayinthecarpet I've just decided the best way to sabotage myself is to be social with people I am local to, and read more books, well my kindle...

Monday, 13-Jan-14 23:13:33 UTC from web
      1. @vcgriffin Psh. Who needs local social interaction. That stuff's for dweebs.

Monday, 13-Jan-14 23:14:58 UTC from web
        1. @clayinthecarpet IKR its so boring and local. where's the world, where's the people.

Monday, 13-Jan-14 23:16:22 UTC from web
          1. @vcgriffin I've always been one to prefer chat rooms and instant messaging over real personal interaction. It's so much easier. Not that I CAN'T do things that way and have fun with it...I'm just happier having time to think before I speak.

Monday, 13-Jan-14 23:18:11 UTC from web
            1. @clayinthecarpet I think I have more anxiety over IRC and message-boards than I do IRL. Though rooms have corners too. Except light houses but they don't build those any-more.

Monday, 13-Jan-14 23:19:38 UTC from web
              1. @vcgriffin Strange! In person I'm as free and conversational as can be, but I don't think before I speak a lot of the time. I could never be a public speaker, that's for sure.

    7. @clayinthecarpet Don't forget about all the bronies. Too many of them.

Monday, 13-Jan-14 23:18:03 UTC from web
      1. @mrmattimation I LOVE meeting bronies in person, but it almost never happens.

            1. @clayinthecarpet Also I've used it before and it was a pain in the plot on Linux, and I just don't expect a Microsoft version to work much less poorly.

Tuesday, 14-Jan-14 00:03:07 UTC from MuSTArDroid
              1. @scribus My version works great so far. No kinks at all.

Tuesday, 14-Jan-14 00:03:57 UTC from web
                1. @clayinthecarpet Hmm. Maybe I'll give it another look sometime.

              2. @scribus i had o downgrade my version to make it work at all, lately.

    9. @clayinthecarpet I make "art," but it's not pony-related and no one here would care anyway...

Tuesday, 14-Jan-14 00:17:16 UTC from web
      1. @longhaul Oh, an artist who doesn't do pony work! That's a nice change. Show me.

Tuesday, 14-Jan-14 00:21:09 UTC from web
        1. @mrmattimation You can see my gallery here. I'm still in the beginner stage, just as a warning. http://mrposslq.deviantart.com/

          1. @longhaul If this is what you'd consider "beginner", I'd like to know what you call "advanced". This stuff is great.

Tuesday, 14-Jan-14 01:11:44 UTC from web
            1. @mrmattimation Thank you.

      2. @longhaul ? That was random. Why wouldn't we care?

Tuesday, 14-Jan-14 00:21:37 UTC from web
        1. @clayinthecarpet It's been a general reaction other places I've been. "Oh, you art? Cool. Where's the ponies?"

Tuesday, 14-Jan-14 01:09:00 UTC from web
          1. @longhaul Many of us here create far more types of art than pony art.

Tuesday, 14-Jan-14 01:10:19 UTC from web
            1. @clayinthecarpet Duly noted. I suspect past experience made me hesitant to mention it.

Tuesday, 14-Jan-14 01:11:48 UTC from web
              1. @longhaul Oooooooo, the Northern Lights one.

                      1. @longhaul Thank ya, sir. :) I had a Phantom craze for a couple of years before I switched to another craze, then finally Pony earlier this year.

                        1. @clayinthecarpet Very nice. And yes, Bob Ross was a big influence in my deciding to try painting. I watched him for years before finally giving it a try.

                          1. @longhaul He makes it all seem so easy. I used to watch his show almost daily growing up.

          2. @longhaul Looks like you started out the Bob Ross way. XD I love your paintings, though. They look great!
