              1. @northernnarwhal How many MB does an LP weight?

Sunday, 15-Jun-14 22:29:15 UTC from web
                1. @nerthos I dunno, I don't have a converter. The length and compression of the album's songs can all contribute to its size in MB though.

Sunday, 15-Jun-14 22:31:00 UTC from web
                  1. @northernnarwhal Just put it in your LP drive and right click it

Sunday, 15-Jun-14 22:32:59 UTC from web
                          1. @northernnarwhal I probably have one too, but it's not as fun. Unless it's in your car.

Sunday, 15-Jun-14 22:33:49 UTC from web
                            1. @nerthos LPs for me are usually for sitting down and pouring a drink to. In my car I usually connect my phone to the stereo via bluetooth and play music through that.

Sunday, 15-Jun-14 22:34:52 UTC from web
                              1. @northernnarwhal Why would you pour a drink on your LPs

                                  1. @northernnarwhal Radiohead sounds like a good concept for a '50s monster

Sunday, 15-Jun-14 22:37:49 UTC from web

Monday, 16-Jun-14 00:29:15 UTC from web
                1. @silverline So what kind of music are you into anyway mate? No point in having 80GB of the stuff if it's all boring.

Monday, 16-Jun-14 00:30:19 UTC from web
                  1. @northernnarwhal everything just about. classical, rock, metal, rap, hip hop, fanmade, studiomade, Techno.... pick it, chances are I've got something of it.

Monday, 16-Jun-14 00:35:23 UTC from web
                    1. @silverline What have you been listening to recently?

                      1. @northernnarwhal listener about an.hour ago, Tchaikovsky before that while playing some Hawken, Beethoven for platoon leading in Planetside2... pick a mood.

                        1. @silverline Ah, I was listening to some Handel earlier today and was just listening to a Doors 45" I picked up earlier today.

Monday, 16-Jun-14 00:40:33 UTC from web
                        2. @silverline Oh, and for mood, let's start with happy.

Monday, 16-Jun-14 00:40:46 UTC from web
                          1. @northernnarwhal depends on the company, usually. I.hit randomize and.play when I'm happy. tends to be metal though. heavy rock. anger for me is classical. helps me think, calms my mind. thought provoking sways from classical to rap. the electronic stuff is used as filler. its not so much collecting for me, its usefulness.

Monday, 16-Jun-14 00:48:21 UTC from web
                            1. @silverline I can dig metal. What kind of metal are you into?

                              2. @northernnarwhal try this again, ensiferum, in flames, tyr, among amarth, Metallica, pantera, soilwork, all that remains.... big list. ^^

Monday, 16-Jun-14 00:54:21 UTC from web
                                1. @silverline @scribus actually linked me to Tyr's most recent album earlier today. It's was aight. In Flames early stuff is totally baller too.

Monday, 16-Jun-14 00:55:32 UTC from web
                                  1. @northernnarwhal I enjoy their newer stuff as well, though people tend to look down on me for it lol. If it's good, and I can bang my head to it or it changes my mood for what I'm wanting, I like it.

Monday, 16-Jun-14 01:01:33 UTC from web
                                    1. @silverline I like their newer stuff but not as much. Come Clarity was pretty sweet though, the drums in Take This Life are really kiwiing good.

Monday, 16-Jun-14 01:02:26 UTC from web
                                    2. @silverline Is it safe to assume you're also into At the Gates and Dark Tranquility? Since those 2 along with In Flames are basically the trifecta of Gothenburg melodic death metal from the 90s.

Monday, 16-Jun-14 01:06:21 UTC from web
                                      1. @northernnarwhal Like the music, Not too big on the lyrical quality. I'm picky, a thing we've been allowed with the advent of the internet lol. But yes, I know of them.

Monday, 16-Jun-14 01:08:44 UTC from web
                                        1. @silverline Slaughter of the Soul is such a good album though, the riffs are so amazing. I'm not really even into death metal that much these days but I think when I am listening to it I take a lot of the lyrics with a grain of salt because they're really all for show.

Monday, 16-Jun-14 01:10:18 UTC from web
                                          1. @northernnarwhal You get what I'm saying, then lol. If you want understandable metal-esque, I'd recommend Soilwork and the bands that get tied to them on a youtube/google search, if you've not heard them before.

Monday, 16-Jun-14 01:12:47 UTC from web
                                            1. @silverline I've listened to Soilwork before and I'm a little on the fence but I can appreciate the musical talent of the group.

Monday, 16-Jun-14 01:14:25 UTC from web
                                              1. @northernnarwhal Listener - Ozark Empire. Totally OFF topic, but worth listening. Not everyone's speed though.

Monday, 16-Jun-14 01:15:15 UTC from web
                                                1. @silverline They're that Spoken Word band right?

Monday, 16-Jun-14 01:16:09 UTC from web
                                                  1. @northernnarwhal quite right.

Monday, 16-Jun-14 01:16:39 UTC from web
                                                    1. @silverline If you're into them, have you ever listened to La Dispute?

Monday, 16-Jun-14 01:17:22 UTC from web
                                                      1. @northernnarwhal You don't get into #, he gets into you with his message. And I know of La Dispute. On the fence to use the expression lol

Monday, 16-Jun-14 01:21:45 UTC from web
                                                        1. @silverline Man, La Dispute's Wildlife is just such a bloody emotional album. Especially the song "I See Everything" that tells the story of a young boy fighting cancer.

Monday, 16-Jun-14 01:24:13 UTC from web
                                                          1. @northernnarwhal I have Wildlife. Their Rooms of the House I haven't gotten too far into, honestly.

Monday, 16-Jun-14 01:26:56 UTC from web
                                                            1. @silverline How about their first one?

                                                              1. @northernnarwhal complicated name... something about Altair, reminded me of Assassin's Creed lmao

Monday, 16-Jun-14 01:30:38 UTC from web

Monday, 16-Jun-14 01:35:03 UTC from web
