        @northernnarwhal The point I was making is that something can be good even if it's designed as an advertisement. I think most people here would agree that at least the first season of MLP was good.

            @mrmattimation People here have very differing opinions about the show, but from what I've seen pretty much everyone liked at least the first season.

            @mrmattimation I'm also not saying that any of the seasons are bad. I didn't really stop watching it because I stopped liking it, I just kinda stopped watching it for no real reason. It's inevitable that I'll wind up finishing it someday though.

            @northernnarwhal I don't know. I don't have an opinion on the advertisement aspect. All I know is that I'm usually not fond of the superhero genre but I really enjoyed GotG. It would never be on my top favorite movies lists, but I thoroughly enjoyed it.

              @ellis That's fine, that's the general consensus too. Superhero movies can really land on anywhere of the enjoyment spectrum for me, and I thought GotG was alright but I felt underwhelmed leaving the theatre.
