@mastertdi Yes, it was sadly cancelled before it could be properly concluded, until the release of a film years later. Still a shame though. Brilliant but short lived.

@mastertdi Watching Episode one the third time round feels totally different, and when you get to the 'MR F' plot line, well even when you know what it is, things is better the second time, mainly for the over obvious word play.

@mastertdi It's a show that needs to be taken in a wider context, much of it is pretty brilliant satire in my opinion. Plus Justin Roiland is a mad bloody genius, who's ambitions become harnessed and properly portrayed by the creative professionalism of Dan Harmon.

@northernnarwhal Ignoring time I'd definitely watch it eventually. But I watch like an hour or so of TV a day and I keep seeing shows that push the list backwards. And sometimes that means pushing them back months.

@northernnarwhal Yeah. I'm even worse with books because they don't even begin to appeal to me, apparently. As a kid I LOVED Roald Dahl and R.L. Stine and Lemony Snicket but as a teenager I can't name a single piece of writing that beckons out to me and I feel kind of bad for it

@northernnarwhal As far as shows running right now, Happy Valley was shockingly great, True Detective was absolutely fantastic in its first season. For someone who prefers more fantasy/sci-fi type shows, Sleepy Hollow actually got really great in the second season.

@darkw00d Hard to choose a favorite. I loved The Wire but I don't consider it to be as good ass Breaking Bad, and it really went downhill. I would argue that True Detective was just as good as Breaking Bad though.

@northernnarwhal I do want to point out a pretty underrated performance, which is Jeff Daniels in the Newsroom. I mean, there was a speech from the first episode that got a lot of attention, but after that it kinda faded away.

@ollie I don't set a limit on myself but I do try and keep my reviews at least somewhat compact for brevity's sake. I generally talk about about the band/artist in the opening, talk about some tracks as well as weak/strong points about the record, talk about how the records sounds in general, and add a few final thoughts in summation of everything before scoring.

@darkw00d It's entirely because HBO and Netflix can get away with having it, so they do it for no real reason. It was my biggest problem with OitNB and Game of Thrones and Boardwalk Empire and basically anything on Netflix and HBO.
