Why can I not get FLAC to download correctly to my computer...? :/

      @dlcentaur If you use iTunes, that won't work. iTunes doesn't support FLAC, only Apple's own lossless codec, ALAC. You'll either have to use another music player (if you use iTunes) or use another format.

        @dlcentaur ALAC has the exact same sound quality as WAV or FLAC, but seems to generally have the best compression of the two (WAV is biggest, FLAC a lot smaller and ALAC seems to be even a tiny bit smaller than FLAC generally). So, I would say it's pretty great (9/10 or 10/10), I just don't use it because I don't like using Apple products :P

        @dlcentaur Bandcamp allows you to download stuff in ALAC. Here's a random Bandcamp page: http://moonprototype.bandcamp.com/album/dusty-lane (I can give you a lot of Bandcamp pages, just need to know what kind of music you like) :P

        @dlcentaur Didn't I just give you a link to http://moonprototype.bandcamp.com/album/dusty-lane, an album I like? Bandcamp gives ALAC files, for example. I get most of my music from there. I have no clue what kind of music you like, though :P

        @omni @dlcentaur Also, if you can't find ALAC, then FLAC or any other lossless formats are easily transcoded to ALAC.

        @dlcentaur I use soundKonverter, I'm sure there's a Mac equivalent. iTunes doesn't do it.
