Okay, for the whole #newpony thing: newponies always kinda fail because they don't know the social "rules" of our little society yet. Esecially when this is the first site as a Brony, you don't really know what to say. Some people would start with a simple "hi" and not say another word. Other people would start with the show to connect. This site once had something wonderful, you got here and people were interested in you, you felt welcome and came back, learned he "rules" and became a part of this community. As cliché as it is, the whole "love and tolerate" stuff is a nice way to approach newponies to give them a chance. Whoever reads this, please think about it. At least for me, it was on my mind that this community changed for the worse and I actually pondered about quitting.

@hakupony That's how I've always felt, this why I always try to give newponies a warm welcome and even made a bot for it. :p

@hakupony Part of the problem is a few people running off the new members. :s That'll be dealt with. I'll admit I've gotten to ignoring new people in favor of the circle I'm in now, though :c

@minti No, honest, I've heard bad things about what the rest of the fandom thinks of us. There's _something_ we really need to try to improve, but I have no clue what that is.

@redenchilada It's not like I was without sin. I just believe that networks like this are important to people who don't have friends who share their interest in ponies or who are not even open with that interested. We are kind of a sheltered area from being called a freak for being enthusiastic about a show about colourful ponies. That's why I ask everypony not to be a jerk for once when talking to them.

@redenchilada Each part of the fandom thinks the others are bad. The problem with here is that they see as "wrong" the long not stupid debates we hold. And also at some point there was the "bluh bluh they support PT" thing.

@hakupony "Being a jerk" is the realm of a few people here. Most people just ignore the new folk... which is every bit as bad.

@redenchilada I stay completely out of the issue. I know some of the things that are said about her/he/it are blatant lies, but her/his DA was basically high octane drama fuel, each word crafted particularly to that end. So I don't take a side, I just let them bite each other to death.

@redenchilada I don't think it is as bad. If there are 6 users online and 3 ignore the newponies, the newponies still are overwhelmed by three ponies interested in them. If 2 act as jerks towards them, this has much more negative influence.

@gladosenchilada Same here. I will say, though, that for the time she ran this site, she was a pretty cool admin. Didn't yell at me for flooding her email with suggestions.

@redenchilada Yeah, as an admin e wasn't bad. A bit paranoid, though, the couple times we talked. Found attacks/bigotry even in the soup.
