@rotation That might actually be a good thing. Or, like RP, have different nights with different ratings. RP when they do a Dark session, for instance.

@rotation It is, but then it just gives people a place to let loose a bit without expecting to see Rarity's humanized rear. *shrugs* That said, putting up an M rated board means less mod work to determine what is acceptable/what isn't.

@rotation That is a great idea, keeping everyone together. Only thing I can see an issue with there is with modding it. You'd need two running timelines, one NSFW enabled, one not, to make sure everything stayed where it was supposed to. Still, not a bad plan. I have no tech knowledge of StatusNet, so I'm not sure if it's doable.

@rotation The other problem is if someone replies to something SFW with NSFW, or vice versa. That would result in a chopped-up and nonsensical timeline. Think about if you mute/ignore someone locally in a chat, but they're participating in the conversation - you lose a lot of the context and it's very hard to follow along. I strongly doubt anything like that would work out.
