@pony They always went well together in my head, or Pinkie/Rarity, which is apparently odd to other people.

@flamingpandaomg Pinkie/Rarity can work. I've read shipfics with every possible pairing of the mane 6 and the one I recall with Pinkie/Rarity had the two throw masquerade parties together.

@pony I've never read any fics that had that pairing really, but I just imagine that it'd work due to Rarity being able to be less reserved and more herself when she's with Pinkie.

@flamingpandaomg but then, Rarity with any of the mane six except AJ and sometimes Fluttershy seems uncommon.

@pony It really isn't, sadly enough. It's much more common to see PinkieDash. :/

@pony ... pretty much. XD I've seen Twilight with pretty much all of the mane 6 except RD. RD is like mutually exclusive to AJ or Pinkie

@pony and it seems like the only ones I see with Celestia is Twilestia or Lunestia. Is that even a proper term for it? Idk.
