      1. @rarity Well, it is not something that is in my vocabulary. How high society is that thing anyway ?

Monday, 11-Nov-13 21:51:08 UTC from web
        1. @critialcloudkicker I think our definitions of "high society" differ quite a bit

          1. @rarity Now there, you just gave me a hint. I recon I am overthinking this way too much.

              1. @rarity But where else will I make fun of dumb things ?

                1. @critialcloudkicker that's the great thing about RDN, is that it's a place you can make fun of things without obscenity for the sake of obscenity

                2. @critialcloudkicker as long as you stay within the rules what's stopping you?

Monday, 11-Nov-13 21:56:32 UTC from web
                  1. @rarity ... I am afraid of challenging the rules when I post a couple of these hilarious ( yet sort of... not really PG-13 ) jokes

                3. @critialcloudkicker what age are you again?

                    1. @critialcloudkicker You'd have to be at least 20 for that.

                                  1. @pony What did it feel like becoming 30 ? Did it hurt ? Was it like a jolt of electricity coarsing through your spine ? Did you grow wings ?

Monday, 11-Nov-13 23:37:58 UTC from web
                                    1. @critialcloudkicker I complained about being old from time to time. being 30 was harder psychologically than being 31. I didn't want to let go of my 20s at first, and then I didn't want to let go of being 30, but now I'm happy with being properly in my early 30s. I did grow wings.

Monday, 11-Nov-13 23:40:47 UTC from web
                                      1. @pony Yay, wings... I guess I have to condole myself in my own feathery goodness then.

                                        1. @critialcloudkicker I complained that people my age are exactly that way back when I was 29, but now that I'm in my 30s I've found that others around my age can be pretty entertaining. I guess some of us have a hidden talent for that sort of thing! You probably do too if you enjoy relating to younger ponies as I do.

                                          1. @pony Most people I meet that are in their 30's have children, a nagging wife, a bad outlook on life, and generally do not smile a whole lot. Also there must be something wrong with me for being able to survive 6 0-hour based contracts and still being able to smile. I still have to wait for the job-market to recover >_<

Monday, 11-Nov-13 23:53:01 UTC from web
                                            1. @critialcloudkicker If I may say so, a lot of people's ambitions in life lead them in different directions than "children, a nagging wife, a bad outlook on life,...", etc. There are other self-confident people in this world who don't feel the need to do any of that and end up living perfectly happy lives finding what *they* want to do in the world, their own way. There are also people who think that the *only* way that one can maintain a happy life is to have a wife/husband and children, and a big house and lots of money...Go figure.

Monday, 11-Nov-13 23:55:23 UTC from web
                                              1. @clayinthecarpet I know, I seem to be the only one I know whom is both in the "near 30 danger-zone" and knows this "secret knowledge that basically states that you should do what makes you happy"

Monday, 11-Nov-13 23:57:12 UTC from web
                                            2. @critialcloudkicker xD well I married a mare who's good at letting me being myself and has a great sense of humor. We might be different if we had kids, but I know a brony in my city who's 30 and has a toddler and he and his wife are always organizing meetups and fun stuff, so it all depends.

Monday, 11-Nov-13 23:58:12 UTC from web
                                              1. @pony Congrats on that wonderful situation you have going on there. :) And yes, it just really, really depends on the personality of a person, their family background, and a lot of other random things.

                                              2. @pony Oh I would really love to meet someone to love. But I really do think that I myself could use a 10.000 mile big service job.

                                                1. @critialcloudkicker Love yourself, bro. You gotta live the rest of your life with yourself, so you might as well love who you are. :)

                                                  1. @clayinthecarpet I do love myself... I do not love my weak points... or my belly-fat...

Tuesday, 12-Nov-13 00:05:39 UTC from web
                                                    1. @critialcloudkicker You know your belly fat is really exessive if most of the pictures on google when you search for "belly fat" are less fat looking than your own belly >_< ... ( I said "most" ... not "all" )

Tuesday, 12-Nov-13 00:09:22 UTC from web
                                                2. @critialcloudkicker I got married with no job or a cent to my name. My wife has worked about 6 months in all of the 6 and a half years of our marriage. We're dirt poor and swimming in debt, but we have realistic expectations of our situation, family to rely on somewhat, and we're happy

Tuesday, 12-Nov-13 00:07:23 UTC from web

                                                    1. @clayinthecarpet @critialcloudkicker well.. she wasn't happy until she got meds really, but whatever. I consider myself happy.

Tuesday, 12-Nov-13 00:11:03 UTC from web
                                                      1. @pony Well, there is happy, and there is enjoying life... Big difference I reckon

Tuesday, 12-Nov-13 00:12:12 UTC from web
                                                        1. @critialcloudkicker It takes actively choosing to be happy and make choices that facilitate it to really be happy consistently I think. I'm clinically depressed according to my doctors, but I still enjoy life yknow.

Tuesday, 12-Nov-13 00:15:17 UTC from web
                                                          1. @pony I think I just sort of motivated myself to get back on the excersize-horse

Tuesday, 12-Nov-13 00:20:27 UTC from web

I can not find a comfortable place for the thing so I can both bike and look at any form of monitor... Ofcourse I could probably play Pokemon whilst doing so... I'll check that out soonish

Tuesday, 12-Nov-13 00:24:50 UTC from web

Tuesday, 12-Nov-13 00:28:53 UTC from web

I am sort of like what Americans would call a Resident Administrator and Technical Janitor. The other one is just a fancied up sea-cargo-container on the edge of a farmer's land ( I bought that land, and the container, and it has served me well all these years as housing untill I got this jig ) ... This veteran-appartment basically has a fitness room downstairs ( mostly cardio, and no cardio-canoo yet, I love those ). I think I found my next "project" :D

Tuesday, 12-Nov-13 00:34:11 UTC from web

Tuesday, 12-Nov-13 00:39:31 UTC from web

Tuesday, 12-Nov-13 00:40:10 UTC from web

And either Game of Thrones and Breaking Bad ( and otherwize serious series... I tried it with Black Adder sometime before, i spend way too much time laughing ) and ... Well I probably need to take the TV down and put it in a more neck-friendly angle and height. I hope I won't have too many vets complaining though.

Tuesday, 12-Nov-13 00:43:37 UTC from web

Tuesday, 12-Nov-13 00:44:59 UTC from web

Tuesday, 12-Nov-13 00:41:15 UTC from web

Tuesday, 12-Nov-13 00:42:14 UTC from web

I need a new spring-coil and preferably a new bike-seat aswell. Then if I could get my hands on some proper arm-rests I'd be peachy... But like I said... I'll probably go watch Breaking Bad

                                          1. @scribus Well the only reason I did not take you for 30+ was because you are not boring nor depressing. SHUT UP AND TAKE MY AWKWARD COMPLIMENT !

                                        2. @critialcloudkicker Hey! Just because someone is in their late 20s/early 30s doesn't mean they have to be boring by default. :P

                                          1. @clayinthecarpet They pretty much have to be by default if I meet them IRL. Unless if I knew them from the internet beforehand. I know this makes no sense, but that is how it feels to me

                                          2. @clayinthecarpet @critialcloudkicker I think it's partly a matter of being fun because you're young and have the energy vs. being fun because you truly value being fun maybe

                                            1. @pony Well, personally speaking, I'm almost 28 and don't relate to grown adults at all, for various reasons. I have lived my entire life engulfed in artwork as my reality and really just feel a lot of relativity with a younger crowd because, as you said, they do tend to be more fun and free and careless. Hell that's why I'm in here posting right now.

                                              2. @clayinthecarpet fun thing, in the preparatory course for the college, i had a chemistry that was the typical boring adult, i used to look at him and think "damn, what does this guy do to have fun?" and now i'm finishing the chemistry college and describe myself as "the boring guy". I'm becoming him. i hope i dont get bald

Tuesday, 12-Nov-13 00:04:24 UTC from web
                                            2. @pony So by that logic there are actually people who love to nag and curse and [female dog] over their economic stance in today's society, and how [form of involuntary coitus] they are when something negative ( usually a bill, or sojmeone not getting enough vitamins, or having cavities, or other children [bull manure] ) over smiling and the joy of a ( perhaps ) juvenile joke ? ... I guess that means either I have a screw loose or half the world is insane... curse you occam's razor

                                              1. @critialcloudkicker Yeah I think that it's just the nature of many people, even as teens, to be kind of downers, but when you're young the circumstances usually aren't as hard so many young people tend to be optimistic.
