  4. @critialcloudkicker I think a heard that story (or some variant of it). But I'm pretty sure you could just feed the mantis other bugs, which wouldn't be much of a problem. https://gs.smuglo.li/attachment/62403

  5. @critialcloudkicker I have to admit that the t-shirt looks very nice. Mostly because its motive is pleasantly abstract and it doesn't feature Sonic's face. But baby blue isn't a colour I'd wear.

  6. @critialcloudkicker If you don't mind having them around, I suppose it's not a problem then.

  10. @critialcloudkicker You would be hard-pressed to find any factual evidence that this actually happened in real life and isn't propaganda coming from CNN. you will never be able to get ahold of the full video or see the man's body because it most likely never happened... but to entertain the thought, let's say it did. There are many other items around the house that the kid live which will kill that the kid still gets to handle that are dangerous if not used properly, like a knife or cleaning chemicals, this is no different. I have been on ranges with kids that were being taught to fire automatic weapons and I have never seen a problem come out of any of them. If this actually did happen than as much I hate to say it, it is the instructors fault for not putting his arm atop the Uzi even though he knew fully that the shorter barrel gives that harder recoil impulse, especially to a new shooter who is not trained. Also, I have fired hundreds of rounds th

  11. @critialcloudkicker Indeed a Volkswagen T3. I'm a bit exaggerating but he has a spare motor and a few other big parts. He's a middle-aged man. So the grey-er hair matches.

  12. @critialcloudkicker My father has half a car in the cellar. A lot of replacement parts for his (not so rusty) old VW T3 bus. There is soo few space left I have big troubles getting my bicycle out of there.

  13. @critialcloudkicker My father has some basic tools, especially an electric drill. So my situation isn't that bad. I already took the measures and marked the spots where the holes should be. I have to wait for my father because he's the only one who knows where everything is in the cellar. I don't want to trip over and kill myself by accidentally knocking something over.

  19. @critialcloudkicker @adiwan Speaking about this particular video, I would probably have made about a 1 to 2 CM big o ring out of whatever material availible to prevent this "air-resuctioning" somewhat further, even if only to endulge my curiosity to see howmuch it would actually help

I don't drink alcohol anyways, so I guess I'd be that sober friend. Haha. I just don't think I'd be able to protect my drunk friends, and I can't drive them home. So I'd be useless.

  26. @critialcloudkicker Thanks for this.Giving it a watch now.As for the "dedicated sober ones to look after people" Good friends will do this without asking. As in .. Taking turns at being the "protectors" And if they won't help. Well, they wouldn't be considered real friends, now would they ;-)

  27. @critialcloudkicker Yeah, that would have been Meperidine (Braand name Demerol) Pretty strong stuff. It will definitely make you really drowsy. On an added note: Pretty sloppy of the hospital staff to leave thumb tacks lying around on the floor.

  28. @critialcloudkicker I noticed I used the "I" form in that last part a bit too presumptuously. Allow me to explain. About 10 years ago I was in a hospital, with a cluster-headache attack. Eventually the staffers decided to give me a really strong painkiller, but I had to be admitted. After like 30 minutes after getting the painkiller ( Deramol ? Demerol ? ) I did not feel anything except the buzzing noize in my head. Also I had to go to the toilet, so I got out, stepped on a thumbtack or 3, did my thing, and got back in bed. I lost all feelings in my pinkietoe after it got infected not much after.

  29. @critialcloudkicker @nerthos Psychopaths will violently rape you.and Sociopaths will charm you first, then rape you. Best plan of action when going out with the gals,or the boys. Have not one,but two dedicated "sober beings" as back-up. It works. I have seen it in action.Everyone gets home safely.

  30. @critialcloudkicker Absolutely not, and that's one of the things I'm against of the whole "rape awareness" campaign. If you get drunk on your own and make a mistake, you have to live with it, and not chicken out because something happened that you don't like. Everyone needs to be responsible for their own actions. Consent cannot be removed once the act is done, and people should learn to live with it. It's the same as hiring someone to do something, and once the job is done demanding the money back because you changed your mind. When you're over 10 years old, you shouldn't be allowed to do that.
