!calgarybronies ok everyone. i did the paperwork! saturdays it is! the store is open 10-6 and il have a key to the back room so we can stay really as late as we want. there is food on site dureing open hours. we will do this bi weekley starting this saturday. i will try to get there around 4-5ish i think maybe. but everyone can do whatever they want there inthe meantime. i would request people to bring over a laptop if they can and if anyone has one a projecter as well as $5 for group funding to buy things we need for future meetups as well as maybe a bit more if inclined for donateing to whatever needs that arise.

!calgarybronies seems like saturday is a good day for what ive seen so far. even if i play battletech and mage the ascension on my saturdays i sitll have free time through the day for things. but id sitll like more people to put there secheduals down for the week so i can be more definite. http://oat.nu/d8bu0
Monday, 25-Jul-11 05:06:24 UTC from web -
!calgarybronies is there a way we can make it so i can see peoples secheduals or something so i can plan around them all? i dont know this is the hardest part.
Monday, 25-Jul-11 03:27:15 UTC from web -
@phoenixswift !calgarybronies im thinking every second saturday evening starting this week. but that is still up in the air. i also want to add a donation bin so if people want to place more then there $5 in they can so we can get things going much faster.
-
@yodelerty !calgarybronies well im thinking this saturday but if everypony feels like haveing a micro meetup of sorts. we can try for that.
-
!calgarybronies also heads up. we can also have a dance party thing also sense i have a bit of DJ experence so that can be a good idea.

!calgarybronies fish creek park is a brilliant idea though and i do like it alot. but lets get introductions down and a main HQ to go to. which is why i said Sentry box. also if we went to someones house it can be a bit impersonal.

!calgarybronies hello fellow calgrian bronies. i got info ffrom sentry box! ok this is how its going to go. that can be our HQ for watching movies and such. however i will be reqquired to ask for a covercharge just so in the future we can get a crappy laptop, projecter, food, event prizes, etc. they do have food on site and it seems that this will more likely be a saturday thing. im thinking $5 is a good start for buying such expencive things off the bat. but for a half decent projecter is worth every penny. belive me. il be doing the paperwork tommarow. i hope $5 is satafactory on everyone for the time being but id like us to meet in this place first sense it can be a good main HQ. the price will go down eventually when more people join and the big ticket pricy items are allready obtained. i also want us all to go to sentry box first so that we can all have a place to greet eachother and get to know each other without going to fishcreek park and not knowing who is in the group.

Friday, 22-Jul-11 07:06:53 UTC from web -
!calgarybronies ok depending onhow things go i tihnk i will make it so there may be an entrence fee into comeing into the room.it all depends on if sentry box has room for us and if they charge for the use of there rooms. il be finding out sunday. but in any case id like to set up a donation bin so that i can fund purchaceing things we may want or need such as food and drinks. and tools such as maybe a projector. who knows. but your input would be liked on that subject. but if there is going to be a required entrence fee i will try to keep it as low as possable for everyone or try to work some deal.
-
!calgarybronies ok well im talking to the sentry box guys on sunday and this weekend regardless sense i want to go there and see if i can buy some things there. but il get the info when i can

@phoenixswift !calgarybronies tell the truth i have alot of time to think at work. and i am makeing half of this stuff up on the fly here. but i do try to think up some fun and nice ideas to hopefully get the most for this ever growing group. i really want to know is... how should i set this up and when? this is more based off of you ponys needs and avaleabilitys. personally i have free nights every sunday. but im trying to look into information right now about places that we can actually.. well... meetup. if anyone has any ideas besides the sentry box. please voice them.
-
!calgarybronies ok so i thought up some stuff. first we can have our group meeting hopefully at a place called the sentry box. the yhave a viewing room for there anime watcing group called J.A.W.S. i am shure they are still there. i will probley aska bout whats going on about it sunday when im in the area. as for events we can do the mystery science theatre 300 watchathon thing, PMV's, contests. and also road trips. i think 2 good places for road tripping is vulcan inthe summer and banff in the winter. nothing beats a hotstpring in winter inthe mountains. as for things we can do in town, we can go bowling. go to various parks and also keep an eye for various MLP events in town. but so far im working on finding an HQ first before we go further with that.
-
!calgarybronies ok so this is a quick creation of a groop symbol so far. im working on the lettering. im trying to find a place to get the generation B free or something close to it to make it look more proper. but i think this is a good symbol for the group dont you think? http://ur1.ca/4qjeo
