just learned that adrenaline orb (an item that increases chance of a pokemon calling for help) can be used without depleting if you've already used one, which means you can skip your turn without wasting PP/items

@tiffany you can do the same thing with a status healing items, if your pokemon isnt affected by that status

I beat Pokémon Sun and I must say, I am thoroughly impressed. It's as if Game Freak overheard all of my qualms with the franchise and made a game just for me. The characters, music and story are all fantastic with only a couple exceptions. Honestly, in spite of all of my whining, the new Pokémon were largely great too.

So apparently my sister's gf says I only give out bad advice for free, so here's me proving her right:
You can make a quick and cheap mini-explosive by mixing toilet cleaner and tin foil on a closed plastic container (like a bottle or a jug);
just place a ball of crumpled up tinfoil in the bottle, drop enough liquid to cover the radius of the ball, put the lid on, throw it and see what happens
or, if you want to be a scientist and record it just shake it a bit, drop it an run
The result should be a puff of white smoke(that will dissipate in seconds) and a very loud BANG
NOTES:
the explosion is due to gas release, not a quick combustion like on a grenade or a thermite bomb, so the only real danger is the shrapnel from the plastic and they should be rendered ineffective at around 4-5 steps away (adjusting for wind-speed, air drag and stuff like that)
