@ellistia Oh me too. I've been telling myself to watch Game of Thrones for about a year now, but I still can't bring myself to start watching it. It's like, I basically know I will enjoy watching it. I think it helps if you watch it with someone else? Although that makes carrying on with it harder due to schedule conflicts and whatnot, so it's all a big kerfuffle either way, I suppose.

@ellistia I find I have to literally force myself to watch new stuff. Thankfully that tends to be the only hurdle, since once I know the first episode or the first 20 minutes of a film are okay, it becomes less daunting and easier to watch casually. Though if I don't like the first episode then I probably won't try again.

@ellistia Oh, I know exactly what you mean. I will say that SU did manage to keep me engaged (for a solid 12 hours even) but I don't think the first few episodes would really engage you if you're feeling this way. At any rate I'm sorry to hear about that
