  1. @klayking !yorkshirebronies NICE! Papercraft for the win. I have to say though, the weighted companion cube is awesomest. Given that they haven't exploded yet, I guess creepers consider ponies to be other mobs.

  2. @durandal somehow you go offline on steam every day about 30 minutes before I come online!

  3. @durandal do you use Steam? If so then perhaps you could add me on there - same username =^^=

  4. @trister why does 'very-near-future' equal 'present' ? I say 'very near' in an attempt to express the notion that our alternate Pinkie Pie exists a matter of minutes or even mere seconds ahead, rather than the days, weeks, months or even years which in the grand scheme could quite reasonably be termed as 'near future'

  5. I just thought, perhaps Pinkie Pie is in a state of quantum entanglement with an alternate Pinkie Pie existing in a parallell very-near-future universe. Whenever this counterpart experiences an unusual or dangerous situation, our Pinkie Pie undergoes uncontrollable simultaneous resonance. Don't give up on that scientific explaination yet, Twilight! (Even if it is sci-fi physics)

  6. @trister well I'd assume that if we had somewhere to stay, we wouldn't necessarially need to eat out. Though people can if they like. It may well not be feasible though, unless we find a lot of people! And @klayking - I think it would be better to know the costs first before we even start deciding what is reasonable =3

  7. !yorkshirebronies @trister the meal cost was £280 if I recall correctly. it sounds right. I personally spent £20 but assuming everyone spent £15 on average that would be £300. Assuming everyone (19 people as someone left) went bowling at £11/ea that's another £200. Places are expensive though - we may not really be able to do anything for that - but we'll just have to see! =3

  8. @durandal Shame, I was rather hoping for food on Saturday evening, with YorkieBrony too. More ponies = merrier! How's next weekend? Or is Bradford a regular occurrence for you? =3

  10. @tenmihara Most probably so - but the original issue was that the episode frustrated by pointing out that in real life, Flim & Flam would have made a better decision and industry would triumph over small providers as always - the downed here being that people would have been fine with it. tvtropes is great, but villains in real life are unfortunately much more successful than their fictional counterparts.

  11. @trister - except they weren't. The only reason the Apple family came out on top was because the crowd rebelled against Flim and Flam, and that only happened due to the compromise in quality. If they'd started by selling the good barrels which were made before turning the speed up, the ending would have been totally different...=\

  12. This week's episode actually made me really miserable, by reminding me of the sort of depressing economic and commercial realities which I go to poni specifically to get away from. This is what it should have been like: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xvs7-shFnIo

  13. @purplephish20 !yorkshirebronies I've added you, purplephish, but for future reference, anyone should be able to add themselves from the link. Edit Button -> Right click map -> Add marker. Or you can search a place. =)

  14. @durandal what are you doing at the weekend? Depending how things go I might end up in Sheffield =P

  15. !yorkshirebronies @klayking York would be fine by me, but who else can make it is a significant factor. If it's not ideal then there's no reason we *cannot* do Leeds again if more people can make it that way. I put myself on the map - and google maps has an integrated short URL feature, so this should hopefully also work if you want to trim that beast down a bit: http://g.co/maps/zqusk

  16. !yorkshirebronies Nice job on the video @trister - and on the Nightly Roundup ^_^

  17. !yorkshirebronies @klayking we couldn't have done that anyway as it happens - I had a look when I was buying MLP magazine in there - it wasn't a big enough Morrisons and and didn't have any, unless I missed them somehow. Honestly this is probably just as well because I would hate to imagine the carnage that could ensue from 20 lustful bronies all fighting to get their hooves on numbers 7 and 11 (Rainbow Dash and Big Mac). Love and tolerance go out the window =P

  18. !yorkshirebronies That's pretty good going @bored0stiff - it's supposed to be *checks receipt*.... £6.97 at Asda!

  19. @durandal shame you couldn't make it! (or rather, shame you could make it but derped) - I was looking forward to meeting you too =3

  20. !yorkshirebronies it's all fine @stecissunrise - no pony meet is complete without getting trollestia'd

  21. !yorkshirebronies and oh - I stopped by Asda after the meet and was able to get all the mane six except fluttershy from blind bags - so the identification chart is totally correct. Note that the number to be concerned with is at the top of the bag on the flap, not at the bottom (which is presumably batch numbering)

  22. !yorkshirebronies So, I signed up just to join this group =3 Had a great time and eagerly awaiting photos (and for klayking to organise another in his un-asked-for position as our glorious leader!)
