!yorkshirebronies @purplephish20 I've been looking on Google maps, and found a Pizza Hut very near to the train station. Problem is that it is apparently permanently closed. I looked on their website too, and sure enough, it isn't listed. The next nearest one is soooo far away! D:

!yorkshirebronies OK guys, it's the two week warning! Anyone wanting to go to Leeds on the 28th at 11am should be sure to arrange travel! Also, we really need to actually work out where we are going for food! Anyone from Leeds know a good restaurant? I'll book us in at the bowling place too, if everyone is OK with that.

!yorkshirebronies Ok, by the end of the week I want to have finalised the plans. Who here would like to go bowling? Feel free to make other suggestions if you know of anything to do in Leeds. Also, where is a good place to eat? Once we have decided on places, I can get a rough headcount and book for us if necessary. Also, getting an idea of how many people want shirts would be useful, but I expect it to fall within the 2-10 bracket.

!yorkshirebronies @stecissunrise Hmm. Leeds, 28th Jan, 11am at the station. Having food and the chance to get pony shirts / other merc if we go ponyhunting. I still haven't found anything to do for that activity I mentioned, but there is a bowling alley near the Merrion centre which is open on Saturdays. I guess we could raid there! But anyway, I'm getting off topic. Leeds, 28th Jan, 11am are all confirmed I do believe, unless we have to make any changes later on.

!yorkshirebronies @durandal If we got 10 of those cheap 2 way splitters then we could have enough jacks. :3 Also, keep in mind that Tshirt Print only has a small range of colours, and they charge for each extra colour afaik. Won't stop me getting a simplistic design though!

!yorkshirebronies Hah, previous post was bang on the character limit! Anyway, the important things I need to know are: Who can make it on the 28th Jan from 11:00am? Where do we want to go for lunch? Who wants T-shirts? T-shirts are £15.50 each if 2 to 10 are ordered, £13.50 if 11 to 20 are ordered. I expect we'd be looking at the 2 to 10 deal if there is interest. Tshirt print told me in an email that we can have multiple designs in one order, so bring your graphics in on a memory stick and they can make them all as one order. After the ponyhunt, what should we do? Need activity suggestions! Again, having an idea of how many people want to attend is helpful!

!yorkshirebronies OK, by the end of this week I hope to have finalised the plans so we can get a post up on EqD about the meetup. It also gives you guys 2 weeks to sort out travel and stuff. The rough plan so far is: --- Meet @ Leeds train station @ 11:00am. Wait until 11:30 for everyone to arrive (if in doubt, get to Leeds earlier). Hang about somewhere, get to know each other. 12:30pm go get food (anypony know of a good place to eat?). After lunch, we can go raid the Tshirt Print store and go on a ponyhunt if anyone wants some official merch. At 3:00pm we should do something, but IDK what yet! :D Maybe we should take over a café and learn to draw ponies or something, heck even watch the new episode if we can get internet! Otherwise maybe we could find some less brony central activity. Will need an accurate idea of how many people are coming though so it can be booked. At 5:00pm I guess some people will want to return home, so I haven't made any plans for later. (What would Twi say?!)

And you can have several designs in one order. If you are ordering more than 10 tops then it is cheaper to come direct with me as I can offer a New Year discount

!yorkshirebronies Ok, I think now may be a good time to actually properly plan this meetup. Who here is free to get to Leeds on the 28th January? Also, has anyone got any Ideas on what they would like to do at the meetup? Food is one thing, also we will be likely raiding the t-shirt store. Anyone know of some good, reasonably priced things to do in Leeds? Also feel free to let me know what dates you will be available if you intend to join us. I'm planning for end of Jan / start of Feb and would like to work it so we can get as many attendees as possible!

!yorkshirebronies So I called in at the Leeds branch of http://www.tshirtprint.co.uk/ today, and asked about t-shirts and stuff. Is £19.50 to get a one sided shirt done, however if you order two or more, the price goes down to £15.50, which is about the same price as the welovefine ones, except without the stupid shipping price. My idea is that on a meetup, we could go to that store with memory sticks full of pony graphics, and get some custom shirts made at a fraction of the price of buying from America! I'm still not sure on some of the finer details, but I can call back in again I guess to find out if they have to be the same design etc. How much interest would there be in buying pony shirts? I've got the original graphic for this: http://www.welovefine.com/product.php?id_product=737 so the shop could produce an almost identical replica! Do want. :3

!yorkshirebronies !midlandsbronies When I went to the midlands Sheffield meetup, many of the people attending had pony shirts. Out of interest, where did you guys get them from? I was about to order two from welovefine, but then saw the insane shipping price. No way I'm spending that kind of money. I've been looking for alternatives and found that a t-shirt printing shop in Leeds seems to be a much cheaper alternative. http://www.tshirtprint.co.uk/pricing-information Maybe if I were to design a shirt online, I'd be able to pick it up at the store in Leeds. This would be a good thing to do on the planned Leeds meetup, for anypony who wants a shirt at a lower cost.
