Does anybody else have a family member that loves to keep going on about how the system is broken or something? It's either stuff to go with governments/corporations wanting control over everyone's lives, or modern technology keeping stupid people alive, or whatever. I am fully aware that we're screwed, thanks, I just want to go to work.

@snowcone Right! And I feel like people who just tell me 'computers are just like that, you shouldn't worry' don't get how frustrating it can be for the computer to just do things like black out because I wanted to play a specific game or whatever.
Truth be told, maybe I should switch from Windows. I've had too much trouble just working with the goal of "I need to be able to record and edit and DJ". Maybe Linux OR Mac would do me some good. -
@snowcone This machine just keeps coming up with new problems with each upgrade. Surprisingly many of my new computer problems started with my new SSD. I can't win! I need to stop trying to save this machine and work for a new one (Probably actually a Mac, at least I can dual boot)

@nerthos Some words are just naturally that way either by implication or social intent. If you're talking about gay or black people, fine, but if you're going around talking about retards or murdocks or mangoesrs then you're out of luck.
