@scribus Factories commonly use it to lubricate pneumatic dispensers. Typically the dispensers are a metal cylinder and a piston with a plastic piston head with silicone gaskets that ride along the cylinder wall that require some kind of lubricant. I only know this because I used to work at a factory that had a bunch of them. The lube gel is safe to eat but tastes terrible, and yes, I did try it so I know what it tastes like.

Watching Breaking Bad. Who was responsible for the casting choice for all the Germans in 5th season? These were clearly Americans speaking German, so thick was their accent. Also who wrote their lines? No normal person here would talk like that. Their speech patterns were unnatural and the vocabulary was way off a normal person's. Rant over.

@mrmattimation It can't be true! It's impossible!!!!! Well... I mean that all of them had a weird accent I don't recognize as German. I know plenty of accents but this was very foreign to me. The furthest guess would be that they were Austrian. Totally weird.

I 100% believe that John K did the things people said he did, but those Twitter DMs going around from the “Jimmy Spumko” account, which look like they were typed by a twelve year old, are 100% fake. The new Seth Rogen Netflix charity special, just by nature of having a multitude of different performers, some funnier than others, is very hit-or-miss; BUT, I think it’s worth a watch. Some very funny bits, some not so funny bits, a touching story, and an animated segment by Justin Roiland, Zach Hadel, and Studio Yotta—give it a go.

Saw a post on Tumblr about how Hank Hill was transphobic. This might be an unpopular opinion, but I don’t think the idea that a 40 year old straight white man in suburban Texas circa 1997 was transphobic should diminish your enjoyment of the show.
