@lifegospel It's only a little bit of snow. At least, where I am. !calgary is a big city.
-
!vgp Watching WTF-a-thon at http://www.twitch.tv/totalbiscuit || Should be interesting.
-
!college Now THAT was a fun class. Watching the expressions on everyone else's faces as our instructor tries to explain 2's compliment and cyclical number systems (which, thankfully, I already know) was absolutely priceless.
-
@ikasamabrony I plan on sitting in the basement and playing video games. !calgary
-
Two from !calgary, one from Lethbridge. I think that's a new record for most Albertans in a single season of Canada's Worst Driver.
-
Oh apples, new season of Canada's Worst Driver starts tonight at 8! Wonder how many people from !calgary they'll have this year.
-
@vanillabelle I just want to avoid spoilers, in case it actually gets off the ground. Especially in a public place like this. !calgary
-
Also, totally skipping school to do homework. I'm such a rebel.
-
@ikasamabrony Possibly more than one. When I imagine, I imagine big.
-
I've been bitten by the inspiration bug again, and this time I may not be able to ignore it. Only problem is, my wonderous new idea would really work best as a comic, and I can't draw. Oh well. I'll focus on the writing part now, and worry about finding an artist later. !calgary
-
@smokingtoast We hang out, watch videos, sing along to the songs (but only if Yodel's there), film Chongo the drawfriend being batmangoes crazy, watch @pk's reading of spiderses, and have fun. !calgary
-
@puzzlemint !calgary Also, using PS3 Media Server to watch Luna Eclipsed on my 42" plasma TV. Y'all marmalade?
-
!calgary Apparently some of you have never heard Discord before, so here's Discord: http://oat.nu/pgzjp || @smokingtoast We mostly just hang out at the Sentry Box every other saturday night and have fun. || @phoenixswift http://www.ps3mediaserver.org/ streams pretty much any media file in any format straight to your PS3. It even supports softsubs if you care about that. Also, http://bronibooru.mlponies.com/post/show/8609 || @yodelerty It's still all your fault. || @vanillabelle You missed Chongo's clopfics! Which is probably for the best, but I'm sure @conjour will put them on youtube anyways.
-
@mayhapmurklins Don't wanna oversell myself or anything, but I think mine was probably the best of the entire class. I'm surprisingly good at public speaking, when I know what to say.
-
Oh Luna, you so crazy.
-
And if you want a sun-stealing princess-nabbing lover-of-darkness stick-in-the-mud, there's even a pony for that. And she's available in just over an hour.
-
@phoenixswift Upon closer inspection, it appears to be a Galaxy Q. I don't know what difference the Q makes, but in my book it doesn't make it any less sexy.
-
@puzzlemint !calgary Receive confirmation of ASET membership: Check like a mangoesing BOSS

@mayhapmurklins I prescribe ponies. You will feel better once you have a healthy dose of ponies. Though, I hope you feel better regardless.
-
!vgp Also excited for DCUO going free-to-play on Wednesday. I know a guy who knows a guy, so I got in on the early, early closed friends-and-family beta, and I absolutely loved it, but then the beta ended and I had no money with which to subscribe.
-
I am so psyched for Saints Row: The Third. !vgp
-
Also, @mayhapmurklins: Sorry if I've been untalkative (textative?) lately. I found out that my phone plan doesn't actually cover texting, which is.. stupid and expensive. Also, the whole thing where I was sick, and then I was moving, and now I'm getting ready for midterms. Plus the thing where you were out of town for two meetups and then I was busy moving for the one after that. At any rate, I've got a new, much less stupid phone plan now, but it doesn't take effect until the end of the month. In the meantime, hopefully I'll see you guys at the meetup this weekend?

!calgary !college This week in Communications class we're doing impromptu presentations. It's not very impromptu, though. The way we're doing it is that we send our instructor a list of three topics we're willing to talk about, and then a few minutes before our presentation, she chooses one of those three topics and we have to come up with a presentation for it. Though since we already know ahead of time what the possible topics are, it's not that hard to be prepared for them anyways. Like I said, not very impromptu. || So, come friday morning, I'll be doing a presentation on either: Reliability of Wikipedia Articles, Analysis of Series-Parallel Circuits, or My Little Pony. Though our instructor says she has a knack for picking the topic we're least interested in talking about, so I guess it's going to be Wikipedia.

@phoenixswift !calgary Are they DDR2 or DDR3? I'm afraid I have nothing to offer in exchange, so don't put my name at the top of the list, but if no one else wants them and they're DDR2, I'll gladly take the 2GB ones off your hands.

@puzzlemint !techponies It's looking like it might be a problem with the latest version of TabMix Plus. This is.. horrendous. Firefox is effectively worthless without TabMix Plus. So is every other browser, for that matter.
-
!techponies Overnight, Firefox has mysteriously developed a condition where it works properly for a few minutes, then inexplicably stops responding to middle-clicks until restarted. Since I use middle-click to open new tabs very frequently, this is severely hindering my browsing abilities. I'm disabling add-ons to see if one of them is the cause, but I'm very much open to other suggestions that don't involve switching to another browser.
-
!calgary God, it is so nice to be able to walk to school and back. Granted, it's a 45-minute walk, but as long as the weather's decent, it beats the hell out of any amount of time on the bus.
-
@puzzlemint !calgary Also we owe the landlord a new door.
