Under this tree I sit, watching on in the distance as around me everyone rushes having to go somewhere; where should I be? I look up and watch the clouds, purple and fluffy, drift lazily along towards the falling sun. As I stare at that fading firey glow, my thoughts drift; In the sun's last moments of the day, I reach out to my side, into the empty air, and realize that I am alone. Emotions overwhelm me, mostly sadness and fear. I can't help but wonder why I am alone. Why. The question with no answer. Sooner or later, I'll have to face that, but for now, I'll just stare up at the now darkening sky, taking in the sights and letting sleep pull me in. What dream will take me tonight.....

Here's what I think: this place is PRETTY COOL. If you want to badmouth how it's gotten so terrible and how it used to be so much better, at least take a moment to think about what, specifically, you find so objectionable. Just saying "it sucks now" is counterproductive and just feeds a negative atmosphere. Saying that "certain people" are the problem is even worse, because not only are you playing the blame-game, you're also unwilling to be the change you want to see when you don't like something. Either learn to ignore others and move along if you have a difference of opinion, or speak out - in a civilized manner - about it. Offer a solution, otherwise you're not helping anything. Stop complaining and do something productive.
