@awl It starts flawlessly with a jump. And you know what? The AAA guy got it to run without grounding to the frame. But the positive post didn't work and it turns out I've been hooking up the cables to a different part of the positive side because I have Fluffle Puffty clamps so all this time I may have been bypassing the real, $10 problem like a derp.

@scribus It is irritating when that happens, but I suppose it is better than a more complex issue. I have also done a bit of overthinking as well (HVAC troubleshooting). :D

@thelastgherkin Oh wow... *does some research into the topic* ... How the intentions of a Facebook campaign can be clear-through but once you do some digging completely condemn such a campaign. Trying to appeal to humanity/sympathy because the same person has a daughter and a pretty emotional black&white picture is really condemnable if the person in question pleaded guilty to things like child-grooming. ... Also I learned today that child-grooming is a thing.

Where did the conclusion of a power plant come from?
In my area, I've had a few power surges, and they have been happening around the state as well in varying frequency. -
@metaltao Xcel is having problems. Mostly weather related, and you know, you kinda have to work with weather when you claim to be the number 1 wind farm company

@metaltao Power surges happen EVERYWHERE in varying frequency. It's what "varying frequency" means. If you're having frequent outages, it's an issue at the plant that supplies your electricity. Hence where power plants entered the conversation.
